We almost kissed. We were so close, but my mother just had to show up.
I was walking up to the school, thinking about what would've happened if my mother hadn't opened the door.
"Millie!" I heard Sadie call from across the field.
I waved, smiling.
She sprinted over to me "How... was... the... date?" She said, out of breath.
I smiled even more, thinking about it "It was amazing"
"Did you kiss!"
"Almost, my mom opened the door just when we were about too" I sighed.
"That sucks" Sadie said "I don't like your mom anymore"
"Me either"
I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist "hi princess" I heard his voice whispers in my ear, I could feel his curls tickling my cheek.
"Hi finn" I replied, suddenly out of breath, he was so close to me- of course, I wasn't complaining,
"Can I talk to you? Alone?"
I nodded, leaning back against him, my back against his chest. He was strong.
I looked at Sadie, her eyes were wide "go" she mouths
Finn laced our fingers together "come on"
I followed him as he led me behind the school.
He smirked at me "you know, we never got to finish what we started last night"
My breathing hitched "o-oh yea"
"I'd like to finish it now. Would you like to?"
"Y-Yes please"
Suddenly, his hands were on my waist.
I didn't know what to do with my hands so I did what they always did in the movies, I snaked my arms around his neck.I glanced down at his plump pink lips, my heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest.
Slowly, he leaned in and connected our lips. My face immediately turns a deep shade of red, I realized my eyes were open so I closed them quickly.
I didn't know how to kiss, he was the last person I'd kissed and that was five years ago. What if I'm bad at this? What if he thinks I'm a bad kisser? Oh god.
I felt him part his lips, so I just followed his lead, I had absolutely no idea what was going on.
He pushed me back slightly, so my back was against the wall, is this making out? I think it is. Oh my god, I'm making out with Finn Wolfhard.
My tongue met his, I almost melted on the spot. It was amazing, who knew kissing could feel this good?
I went from nervous out of my mind, to actually enjoying this. I wanted to kiss him forever.
But forever ended soon as he began to slowly pull away, his lips leaving mine, as much as I wish they wouldn't. He let the kiss linger for a second or two before fully pulling away.
"Five years later and you're still a good kisser" he said, his lips tinged pink from my lipgloss.
I blushed even more, if that was even possible.
"I'll call you later, babe" he said with a wink.
He walked away, a slight wind blowing his loose brown curls.
I watched him leave in awe. That was the most amazing experience of my life.
