*at the graduation*

Sara's POV

Aunt Crane introduced me so I can give my speech and I could hear the clapping and cheering from the crowd. I looked at Mitch and he nodded with a smile on his face. I slowly stood up, took a deep breath and walked to the podium with my high heels clicking with every step. I looked over the crowd and I felt nervious.

'Sara...if you get nervious just look at me and no one else. I know you can do this.' Mitch's words echoed in my head as I looked over the crowd. I looked at Mitch and I started to speak.

"Here we are...at the threshhold of a new life. A friend of mine once said 'You can't succed without suffering hardships' and he was right. Struggles or hardships help us learn and make us stronger. Without them...we learn nothing from our mistakes.

I have been bullied by...most of you since middle school. I say most of you because some of you had a heart. You all started to care for me during my fight with cancer and that gave me...hope. another hardship that I learned from was when my birth parents started abusing me...and it got so bad that I got stabbed in the shoulder by my dad and at the hospital thats where I met my foster parents. Both of these hardships tought me that there are good people in the world...That some people are heartless but most have a heart.

So as we go on to new lives and if you struggle along the way...learn from it and take that lesson to heart. Let that experience make you stronger. We got through a hard and long school year and it was an honor to speak to you all...thank you." I finished and as I walked back to my seat the crowd clapped and cheered. I looked at Mitch when I sat down and he had a smile on his face. I smiled back.

*at the after party*

I had gotten separated from Mitch and I was having fun. People were drinking and dancing like idiots. I decided to look for Mitch so that I don't get harrassed, the incident at pax still makes me want to barf.

After looking for thirty minutes I saw the back of Mitch's head and when I got closer...I saw Mitch kissing another girl. I just stood there and when he opened his eyes he pushed girl off him, I grabbed his arms and I dragged him outside of the party.

"What the hell was that Mitch!" I yelled and he just stood there with regret on his face.

"I-I..." He went quiet.

"You kissed another girl! After all we've been through you kiss someone else?! You told me that you cared about me and that you love me...but you were lying." I saw a tear come to his eye after I said that.

"I didn't mean to Sara. I really do love you." A tear rolled down his cheek.

"Mitch."

"S-Sara?"

"We're thorugh" and with that I took of my high heels and ran away.

Mitch's POV

I watched her run away from me and I felt my heart break. I just lost the love of my life...I feel broken. I wanted her to forgive me but I knew she wouldn't, I threw our love away when I kissed that girl. I don't deserve her.

With that in mind I went to my car and drove home. When I got there the lights were off meaning that everyone was asleep. I went inside, up to my room and I fell face first on the bed.

I fell asleep with a broken heart.
