It was a sunny and clear day.

"Jungkookie! Let's hold hands!" I smiled at him with my hand outstretched to him.

"Hyung, it's hot. My palms are already sweaty." He grumbled.

"Oh...okay! Let's go get some ice creams!" I took back my hand and pointed at the ice cream shop.

I forced myself to smile happily as I blabbered along the way while he looked impassive and uninterested.

It has been a week that he's acting weird. That he seems to have gotten bored. That he seems to not care anymore.

Before he would always look at me sweetly. He would smile at me. Speak to me. But now, he just nods and always has his attention on something else.

"This ice cream is great! Let's go back then next time" I said. Though I felt like there won't be a next time anymore.

"Yeah. Where should we go next?" He said, his attention on his phone. He was texting someone. I wonder who it was.

"Let's go to the park where we had our first date." I said. My gut is telling me to go there.

"M'kay." He replied shortly.

We walked in silence as he typed away on his phone. I just distracted myself with the ice cream.

It hurt me, really. He has become cold. It was like he...he didn't love me anymore.

I didn't want to think of that possibility. No, I didn't want to accept that maybe he has found someone else.

I am afraid that he would leave me. I'm afraid that I would be alone again. He was the only person I had.

We reached the park and I dragged him to a bench. And we sat there in silence.

I took his hand and intertwined our fingers. I held his hand tight while he gave me a confused look.

"Just let me hold your hand this time. I've never held your hand this past few weeks." I said in a calm voice. I smiled at him softly and ate my remaining ice cream.

I felt his warm and big hands. Not as big as mine but it fit perfectly in my hand. His hand was somehow becoming sweaty but I didn't let go.

He didn't hold my hand like how I held it but it was fine. At least I can hold his hand.

I finished my ice cream and just stared at the trees.

"Do you remember what you said to me here?" I asked him.

"Hmm...no." he said and he kept typing on his phone with one hand.

I didn't want to look down at his phone. I would never. I'm too scared to do that.

I gulped down thing blocking my throat. My heart felt heavy. Really heavy.

"You told me that you will love me dearly and give me your all. What about what I said. Do you remember?" I asked him still looking ahead.

"No, why?" He asked, still busy.

"Nothing, I just wanted to know if you remembered my words. I told you that you don't need to give me your all. I only needed you to stay by my side, always and never leave me." I said.

I felt his hand twitch.

"Jungkook...do you remember what we promised on our anniversary?" I asked him. This time I looked at him.

This time too, he looked at me. His eyes looked uninterested. I wasn't smiling. I had a blank face now.

"No." He said.
