Fate: Race to the End

Ch.6-Answers

     "We know sweetheart.  We were going to tell you, but we didn't know that it was already in motion", my parents say.
     "And y'all just failed to mention this to me. The reason I'm being chased by people", I say.  "So, what does that make y'all?" I ask.  "We are nothing.  You are chosen to be the master of powers. You have the ability to control everything even life itself," my parents say as there faces turn sad.  "But you are destined to bring chaos.  You may try to control it but you can't.  You want be yourself anymore.  It will be as if someone took over your body.  Although we are your parents, you chose us to guard you.  When you become of age, you shall meet your husband Demetri. You are his wife.  You embody Imal-"Queen of Doom".
     I sit there trying to process everything.  I can't believe my parents kept this from me.
    Remembering the box with ribbons, I pull it out and open it.  Inside the box is a royal blue sapphire amulet.  The amulet starts to glow, and I decide to put it back in the box.

     "Prom tickets are now on sale.  Students please stop by the front office to purchase them. Have a great day"! the intercom.
   Just one more thing to worry about.  Prom here is for juniors and seniors.  I don't even have a date, and I know I'm definitely not going with David. "Whatever", I huff.  I make eye contact with David across the hall.  He turns his head and continues to talk to some cheerleader.
   "Hey Iman", Alex says."Hello", I reply.  I muster the courage to ask him a question.  "Do you have a date to the prom?" I ask Alex.  "No. Do you?" he asks.  "So, do you want to be my date?" I ask. "Are you sure your boyfriend would be ok with this?" He asks. I don't have a boyfriend", I reply. "Then I guess we're fine" he says.
     "Hey geek!" David yells at me.  In school, I'm invisible to David. 
     "What was that all about?" Alex asks.  "Nothing. Just David being him", I say annoyed.

     If you're wondering, I have no friends.  I don't let anyone in too easily.  Even David doesn't know everything about me. I don't plan on letting anyone in too deep.

     Walking into a cafe, something seems off.  This cafe is usually very busy during the evening.  There isn't a single person in sight. There isnt even a cashier or waiter.  It's just empty.
     The cafe is deadly quiet.  Then arrows start flying.  "Where are these arrows coming from?", I wonder.  I start ducking and running. 
     "Let go!", I scream.  Some women had just appeared and had me in a choke hold. I manage to kick her in the guts.  I take her arms and pin her to the ground.    
     "Tell me who you are!" I demand.  I summon heat and burn her wrist. 
     The women kicks me in the stomach and sends me flying.  "What do you want?" I ask.  "Your life", the smiles maliciously.  "Well too bad", I say.  "I think not", the woman says.  She pulls out a bow and shoots it through my chest.
    For some reason I am unaffected by the arrow through my chest.  I pull the arrow out of my chest, and is shocked to find that I am not  bleeding.  The women then shoots two more.  One through my head and the other through my heart. The woman then pulls some more weapons out her bag.  She takes out a gun and tries to shoot me, but it doesn't work.  I am kinda surprised that I'm still alive.  Then the women tests every other weapon.  "What will kill you?" the woman thinks aloud.
     "Ready to say goodbye?" I ask.  "Night Night".
