Did you all think I killed her? Never. I just knocked her out and erased her memories about the 'chosen one'. I manipulated her thoughts.
Currently, I am in the car with my parents. We are going to a brunch party.
After shaking hands with a few people, I head over to the food bar. "Hello. We meet again", the man who gave me the the amulet said. "You. You tried to kill me", I spit. "Calm down. I was never going to kill you. I just wanted you to protect yourself, and aren't you supposed to be a black-belt or something. Yet, you still can't protect yourself", the man finishes.
"So all that was so I would learn to protect myself"? I ask. "Partially". "It was also the help Imal awaken some more. She has already been awaken but not fully. What I did was merely another trigger. Your reaction to what I did shows that Imal has already been triggered somewhat beforehand", the man finishes. "What about that amulet you gave me"? I ask. "That amulet is the final step to fully awakening Imal", Thomas says.
"Who are you?" I ask. "No one. I'm just a person", he replies. "I'm serious. Who are you?" I ask in a demanding voice. "Thomas", he replies. "And you obviously know me, so no need for an introduction," I say.
Just then I saw David. I wonder what he is doing here. He is starring in our direction. "Looks like you have an admirer," Thomas says. "He looks pretty jealous", he says. "Would you join me for a dance my fair lady?" He says with a grin. "With pleasure", I say with fake happiness. "Let's tango", he says. When we start to dance, "Thinking Out Loud" is playing. We gain the attention from every person there.
When we finish, we receive hand claps. Thomas had to go do something. David looks absolutely livid.
"What are you doing here?" David asks me. "I could ask you the same", I reply. "Whatever, but you shouldn't be here", he says. "This conversation is over", I say. "Ok, I see", David says. I'm surprised David backed off that easily. Hmm.It's been a little over a week since that brunch party. I really haven't heard from David, and Alex went out of town; he should be back today.
I walk into my school building on Tuesday morning. As I walk down the hall, I see people giving me disgusting looks and others laughing. While I'm away my locker, Alex comes up to me with a concerned look on his face. "What's wrong"? I asked him. "Do you know about this"? He holds out his phone. "Oh my gosh", I say in a whisper.
