skye sat on the end of her bed, staring down at the dull comments filtering through louis' comment section.she knew being close with louis would bring hate yet, at the time, she didn't care.
however, now that it had finally become reality, she was now questioning her decision.
skye had always been pretty confident.
her friends always viewed her as the confident one and they always admired it about her.
but the amount of hate she read made her question who she was and made her look at herself in a way she never had done before.
she wanted to stop, but couldn't.
she kept scrolling.
each comment ripping another layer of confidence from her.
deep down she was well aware that all of these people were just jealous that she was friends with louis and they weren't.
but nonetheless, each comment she read sunk her deeper into believing that each word written was true.
brick by brick, her walls came tumbling down.
she clicked off of the post and went over to her own account, only to see even more hate being spread there.
hate was flooding through her dms like water spilling out of a dam.
she didn't know what she had done wrong to deserve so much hate from fans.
as much as she tried to hold it in, the pain came out like an uproar from her throat in the form of a silent scream.
the beads of water started falling down one after another, without a sign of stopping.
she threw her phone to the ground as the muffled sobs wracked against her chest.
skye would hardly ever cry.
she appeared tough which was another thing her friends admired about her.
however, when she did cry, there was rawness to it, like the pain was still an open wound.
in fact, the last time she had truly cried was when her dad left.
and that was a wound that could never be healed.
