Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Sleepover Disaster

Friday 15th May : The Long Trip

Okay, let me recap this. Holly Hills ( The richest in my whole school) has invited ME to her rich sleepover. Oh my gosh..what do I wear?

Okay, i'm acting like this is a Diary so I better stop. Anyways, I didn't know what to do and there is only one person that knows how to sort anything with girls: Uncle Gerry. I begged Dad to visit him and he finally said yes.

Manny was playing with his friend, and Rodrick was listening to music, so it was just me and Dad. On the way, Dad kept moaning about " waste of time " and " Gerry is dumb " but I ignored him. I knew Uncle Gerry knew everything about girls.

Uncle Gerry lived far away, so it was alot of paitence. Once we were on the motaway, there was a flash of traffic. Cars beeping and yelling " C'MON" . Me and Dad had just arrived at the t traffic, so we had no clue what was keeping it up, but then we realised.

A turtle had escaped the zoo, and was crossing the road. Everybody knew how slow Turtles are, so it took a VERY long time. 20 minutes passed by, and the turtle was still going. It looked like to me that the turtle was going really slow on PURPOSE that turtles NORMALLY go.

Another 20 minutes went by, and Dad went furious. He was banging his horn, and cursing to himself that the turtle would hurry up. He was also phoning mum and explaining why it was taking so long. On the call, Mum was complaing that GRANDPA had came and was waiting for Dad so Dad could of dropped him at the doctors.

Now Dad was REALLY stressed out and mad, so he decided to call it a day and go home. I didn't want to wait anymore either, so I decided to tag along and go home too. But as soon as we left, the turtle reached its destination and the cars were going.

Let's just say that Dad got fed up and make Grandpa go home.

Guys, i'm so sorry for not uploading the past few months, I had NO ideas what so ever and I just left it cause of school. This is the last week of school now, and hopefully more chapters will be coming soon! See you guys later!
