Recap:

Doctor Strange: "How do we even know you're telling the truth? Why should we trust you?"

Just then, Shuri's monitor buzzed with an alarm. Her eyes wide she looked at Peter, "It's the ship. They have company."

Deadpool: "The plot thickens."

Peter: "What!?"

Everyone crowded around Shuri's monitor to see what she was talking about. Sure enough, the group could see from the location monitor that a large shape was approaching the Quin-Jet carrying the Avengers.

Rocket: "Surely they can see a ship as big as that in their rear-view mirror. Quill will take care of it."

Shuri pulled up the other monitor to see what the crew was doing inside of the ship, but it didn't seem like any of them were checking their rear-view mirrors. The crew was crowded around a table, still discussing a plan and, it looked heated, to say the least. Both Thor and Tony's eyes glowed with anger as they yelled at one another. Unfortunately, Shuri's tracker didn't have audio so they couldn't hear what the team was talking about. It was safe to say, however, that the passengers on the Quin-jet were unaware of the imminent danger behind them.

Shuri: "Their sensors must be off. They don't notice the ship behind them"

Peter: "We need to tell them, how can we contact them?!"

Shuri: "They're too far away. We don't have the technology for space communication at this distance. By the time it reaches them it'll be too late."

But it seemed to already be too late. Shuri's monitor beeped loudly as the alien ship had made contact with the Quin-Jet.  From the camera monitor, it seemed the Avengers had finally noticed their company as well. The team looked up from the table they were surrounding to address the visitors. Steve and Peter seemed to be yelling something as the team suited up.

The group surrounding Shuri's monitor had been silent the entire time, watching nervously as the events unfolded. The sound of crunching, however, suddenly took them out of their trance. They turned around to see Deadpool, who was watching from behind their shoulders, loudly shoveling popcorn into his mouth. He stopped mid-bite, noticing the eyes on him.

Deadpool: "What?"

Ant-Man: "You cannot be serious. You know you really are a - "

But before he could finish, Mantis gasped and their eyes were brought back to the monitor. Thanos' minions had boarded the ship and it wasn't looking good for the team. In seconds, Gamora and Peter were shackled to the ground by and it looked like the rest of the team had been knocked out. It seemed the aliens were talking to Gamora but they couldn't tell what they were saying. Peter was yelling but was soon silenced by a large scepter placed on his chest. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and turned black. When he opened his eyes again they glowed blue. He didn't look to be himself.

Rocket: "What did they do to him?!"

Loki suddenly piped up from the back of the room. He was sitting in his cell now, his eyes showed - concern? That couldn't be. "He's turning them into his minions. He's using the scepter to bend them to his will."

Doctor Strange picked up on what Loki was talking about, "You mean to say he has the Tesseract?"

Loki only looked at him, his eyes confirming what Dr. Strange thought. "He must have taken it off of Asgard."

Doctor Strange moved closer to Loki's cell, fury in his eyes, "What does he know about the Infinity Stones?" He growled between clenched teeth.

Nebula took this time to speak up for the first time, "Thanos has been on the hunt for the Infinity Stones for as long as I can remember, ever since we were children that's all he's ever wanted."
