Niall slowly stirred before rolling over in bed. His eyes slowly opened looking around the groggily room. He groaned before sitting up, wiping the sleep from his eyes. He looked around again, the room now clearer to him.

This wasn't his room.

He panicked immediately, jumping out of bed.

"Where the hell am I?" He asked himself quietly looking around the room for a shirt at least. "What the hell happened last night?" He continued to whisper to himself throwing a shirt over his head. To say he was frazzled would be an understatement as he neatly pulled up the sheets of the bed and looked around the room for any clues to where he might be.

He heard muffled music playing from outside the room and down the hall. He was afraid to move. But he kew that he had to leave, however he didn't know who was in the other room.

"Ah bloody hell," he groaned quietly before carefully leaving the room.

He crept down the hallway as the music grew louder. Once he reached the doorway of the kitchen he saw the back of a blonde girl's head cooking in front of a stove.

"You're awake," she spoke before turning around with a plate of pancakes in her hand, "Morning sunshine...Pancake?" She offered, a little too casually for Niall's liking.

Niall blinked a few times, letting everything register before he began shooting out questions.

"Rachael...what? What am I doing here? How did I get here?" He asked, no longer feeling nervous, but rather more confused.

"Huh you really don't remember?" She chuckled lightly, "I can't say I'm surprised. You got completely shit faced last night."

"Damn, did I?"

"Oh yeah," Rachael nodded placing the plate in front of Niall along with a few Advils and a glass of water.

Niall coughed uncomfortably and then had to ask, "Rach...did we...did you and I-"

Rachael shook her head giving him a bit of a smirk, "No...no we didn't Niall."

She then sat at the kitchen table with Niall and continued to tell him, "You insisted on having fun last night. Little did I know that having fun meant taking four shots of vodka and doing the macarena six times in a row." Rachael trailed off, hiding her smile as she recalled last night.

"Oh no," Niall groaned rubbing his face with his hands, trying to hide his red cheeks.

"It was actually really funny. The macarena wasn't even playing," Rachael told him, trying to suppress her laughter. She then continued to explain, "And because you refused to tell me where you were staying, I brought you back here and you passed out completely."

Niall, who sat there completely mortified, sighed, "Well thank you...sorry if I was being difficult last night."

"Don't apologize. I think you needed to get drunk... let loose, as you said last night." Rachael told Niall as she sat across from him at the kitchen table with her own plate of pancakes.

"Oh god," Niall cringed to himself, squeezing his eyes shut.

"Don't worry, I took good care of you. Held your hair back and everything when you were throwing up." Rachael smirked.

"Wow, that's incredibly embarrassing. But, thank you Rachael."

There was an awkward silence that surrounded the two of them. Mainly awkward on Nialls behalf because Rachael witnessed and helped Niall with his drunk endeavours last night, and also because Niall was fully aware of how much of a fool he might've been. But the two continued to eat in silence, avoiding eye contact like it was their job.
