One The Beer Run

✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿

          "Eric, it is time."

These are the first words spoken after a heavy pause of silence. In the basement of a small, lovely home in Point Place, Wisconsin, five teenagers sit around a table while an adults only party carries on upstairs. The Eric in question is one Eric Forman, the sixteen year old scrawny male who lives in the house they're currently sat in. Two seats down from him is Rebecca Forman — who refuses to go by anything but Becca — the small blonde girl with whom Eric shared a womb with for nearly nine and a half months.

It should probably be noted that despite their parent's reassurance that they're twins and that their birth certificates clearly state they were part of a pair, the Forman twins couldn't be further from being alike. Eric's tall and lanky, topped with brown hair while his sister is short as can be, her mess of blonde curls probably being the only thing that can get her to pass for a few inches taller than she actually is. Most honestly have a hard time believing their siblings, let alone twins. In fact, the only thing the twins probably have in common is their tendency to give smart ass remarks, but that's currently not the focus of their friend group's attention at the moment.

The female Forman is looking at her brother intently, giving him a look that says grow a pair and get us some beer, for God's sake. The sound of their parent's party upstairs only seems to increase Becca's want for Eric to head upstairs, mainly because upstairs means alcohol and alcohol means not having to endure yet another boring night in the basement. Originally she wanted to do a circle which is basically just code for the gang sitting around the table and smoking their brains out, but apparently they don't have enough weed. Yeah, they really need to work on getting a bigger stash, honestly.

Rounding out the rest of the room includes Steven Hyde — generally referred to as just Hyde — the curly haired rock enthusiast. His interests (as one might assume) include sex, rock and roll, and pizza, specifically in that order. He's got insanely long sideburns and tends to wear sunglasses indoors even at nighttime. He's also someone who is hell bent on getting Eric to go upstairs, as well the one who just voiced that a moment ago.

On the other side of Becca sits Michael Kelso — simply Kelso to his friends and occasionally a screeched Michael by his girlfriend — the somewhat dumb but handsome friend of the Forman twins. However, despite the group generally wondering about how many times he was dropped on his head as an infant, he's somewhat like a golden retriever in the way that he makes for a rather goofy and generally optimistic companion. The long haired boy looks on eagerly, clearly chomping at the bit for Eric to make his move and get this show on the road.

Lastly is the second and only other girl in the basement, Donna Pinciotti. She's the Forman's tall redheaded next door neighbor, complete with a strong feminist outlook on the world. Added to that she also happens to be Eric's longtime crush as well as Becca's closest friend in the group. Make note that she is also hell bent on Eric heading upstairs.
