◇KIRISHIMA EIJIROU◇

Kirishima Ejirou felt like the biggest idiot to ever exist.

He'd always been secretive of his feeling, always so strong when it came to keeping them at bay, in the back of his mind. Like, what the crap? He'd been successfully doing it for two years now, what happened?!

Bakugou Katsuki gave him a kiss, that's what. It wasn't even anything special, just a peck on the forehead, something normal among good friends. Mina had done it to him before and he didn't have a heart attack and admit some crazy feelings.
...just, when he felt those sweet soft lips lightly brushing against his forehead ohhhh god, his brain went haywire and he'd jumped to so many wishful conclusions. He'd just assumed...He'd just assumed that since Bakugou was like, kissing his head or whatever, he felt the same.

Kirishima almost laughed. He'd assumed that Bakugou, the Bakugou Katsuki liked him. What an idiot he was.

He let out a sigh and stumbled out of one of the many guest rooms littering Kaminari's humungous house, leaning on one of his crutches as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He started down the hall, following a steady pattern with his crutch. A frown etched onto his features as he passed the door of the room Bakugou was sleeping in, bunking with Sero.

He'd been so wrong. And now Bakugou was (clearly) pissed. And who could blame him? Just suddenly dropping the bomb like, "Hey Katsuki, guess what? I like you. Please lean down and kiss my forehead again." to someone you were supposed to be friends with? Someone you were supposed to be nothing more than friends with. Being ticked off should be expected of Bakugou, but...not like this.

Kirishima swore that he would rather take a detour around the entire house than having to pass by Kirishima, that's how upset he was...Maybe even...Bakugou hated him. What if he could never fix it? Sudden tears threatened to bite the edges of the redhead's eyes, but he clamped his eyes shut and fended them off. He was being way too sensitive; something like this was nothing to cry about.

When he blurted out that he liked Bakugou, dozens of scenarios played through his mind, making him giddier than a middle school girl.
He wondered what it would be like; having Bakugou as a boyfriend, it was the first time he seriously considered it, first time he even imagined it possible. Up until that moment, he never even thought in his wildest daydreams that he had a realistic chance with the fiery blond. He just cherished each hug, each time their hands brushed together, and every time their eyes met with a heavy, longing heart, figuring hiding his feelings would be his safest bet.

He was so suddenly filled with expectations, so many butterflies tickling his insides as he waited for Bakugou to respond. Suddenly he was picturing so many future scenarios like a lovesick puppy.  Their first kiss? Their first official date? How would they tell the others? When they went to Bakugou's parents' beach house, would they share a room? Could Kirishima silently curl up next to him in the middle of the night, finding comfort in the concept of a boyfriend?

For the first time in his life, Kirishima thought that he had a chance... Funny how those hopes were ripped from his hands and burnt right in front of his very eyes so quickly, almost instantly bashing down the sweet desires.

Now, Bakugou refused to even look Kirishima in the face...He wouldn't go as far as to say that it 'broke his heart', but it sure didn't feel good.

He let out another heavy sigh, making his way into the kitchen of Kaminari's home. Like everything else in the mansion-like house, it was big. Two island counters, a wet bar, and a fridge the size of three zebras stacked on top of each other? It was almost enough to give Kirishima's fourteen year old self, who could barely afford school lunch at the time, a seizure the first time he'd seen it.
