Nico quickly decided that the event that happened earlier in the bathroom was either a monster trying to trick him that left for whatever reason, or he was just shaken from the near-death experience a few nights before. His mind was soon cleared asfter three episodes of "Durarara!!" and an episode of "Z Nation."
The next morning, he met with the four friends he had conducted the experiment with at lunch.
"Okay, I'm going next," Annabeth announced. "There's been no signs of brain damage--if anything, you're sharper. I want in. Tonight."
Nico nodded, "I also want to go. I want to go under longer, just in case I missed something or things changed. I did the calculations, and I have it all perfectly planned out."
"Guys, are you sure about this?" Hazel asks.
"Yeah, it seems... unnatural." Frank agreed with his partner.
"Isn't that the glory in it?" Nico replied.
"It'll be fine. I'll go over Nico's work. Tonight, same time, same place. Only if you're in on it."
"I don't agree with it," Will said. "But I also don't want anything happening without me there. As long as tonight goes fine, I'm in for good."
"This is actually enjoyable..." Nico mutters.
