When Giovanni Vastola, a doctor working at the best hospital in Hillview, takes a nap on his shift something strange happens. He wakes up, still in his office... But it's dark. There's little to no light down either side of the hallway, lights flickering dimly with rubble laying on the marble floors and dark substances caked on the walls. It was undoubtedly the hospital, but what could have possibly happened while he was asleep? Surely he'd wake up if he heard something and there's no way it was abandoned; he'd just talked to Officer Coleton this morning. A low shuttering growl came from the right end of the hallway, and in the dust and smoke floating in the air he saw what looked like glowing golden eyes peering at him. The creature was unseen, but the noises and eyes filled Gio with terror.
