Max
"I swear to god, I'm sixteen already why the fuck do I still go to this damn camp." Max complained banging his head on the mess hall wall.
"Aw don't be like that Max! You come here to be with friends and because you like to spend time with me you're favorite camp counselor!"
Max rolled his eyes at David's words and continued his head banging. So far he was the only kid at the camp. In fact his parents had dropped him off here a week early, so David had to come early to. David didn't complain though Max knew he loved every moment at this god for shaken place.
"Shut up David. When is every coming? I'm going to die of boredom if I have to spend one more moment with you."
"I bet you weren't thinking that when YOU hugged me that one tiMm-oouch-Max what was that for?"
"I said to never speak of that again David" Max rolled his eyes and moved to sit down in the grass. David was kneeling on the ground holding his stomach, Max smiled to himself and started playing with the grass. He hated it here but David was right he was happy to be somewhere we he wasn't getting yelled at for being a mistake and ruinning his parents lives.
It's their fault for not getting rid of him when they had the chance, why must he be punished for it? He leaned his head back and flopped onto the grass and stared up at the sky. Six years huh.
"Hey bud"
"Don't call me that"
"Fine, Max I'm going to go work on some papers I'll be back don't go anywhere"
"K David."
Max closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Any moment now, Neil and Nikki will show up and they'll be having the time of their lives. He listened to the birds sing and the trees shake as the wind blew. It was peaceful and he kinda like it. Everything seemed fine in that moment, of course until David screamed. Max grinned to himself because that scream meant the bus was here which meant his friends were finally there. He got up and walked over to a crying David and a old nasty looking bus.
Niki was the first one to greet him, she leaped off the bus and landed right on Max and gave him a great big hug.
"Get the fuck off me Nikki. Where's Neil?" Right as he said this Neil walked off with a girl walking behind him. They seemed to be chatting it up. Max's mouth dropped open as he got a better look. She was shorter than him with h/c that fell right to her shoulders. She was wearing a light blue crew neck sweater and dark jeans with gray high top converse. Max quickly shut his mouth and walked over to them. "Hey Neil good to have you ba-" Before Max could finish Neil was walking away and taking the girl with him.
"Hehe, Neil's got a girlfriend" Nikki laughed dusting herself off, "She's really cool Max she should be our fourth member of the group. I hate being the only girl."
Max frowned and thought for a minute then spoke "Fuck no. Having to deal with you two is enough. No fucking way am I going to have to deal with her too. And why is her hair so short is she trying to be a guy."
"Gee Max it was only a question no need to bite my head off for it." Nikki skipped off to the Cabin and left Max standing alone. Fuck if Neil's gonna ignore him for some girl. He walked over to them and started calling Neil's name until he finally turned around.
"Oh hey Max when did you get here."
"I have been here the whole time Neil for fucks sake" Max threw his hands up.
"Oh sorry didn't see you. Anyway have you might Y/n? Shes pretty great."
Max turned his head to the girl next to him and tried to frown more.
"No and I don't want to. Now could you hurry up with whatever the hell you're doing so we can get on with our day."
Neil looked at Max then Y/n, he opened his mouth to speak but closed it.
"It's fine, I could just have one of the counselors show me around, thanks anyway Neil" The girl gave Neil a small smile and started to walk away.
"See you later?" Neil yelled after her.
"See you later" She yelled not turning around.
"God I hate her." Max growled.
"But you don't even know her?"
"So, I KNOW I hate her and that's enough lets fucking go before I puke."
