Chapter 5

Lance's POV:
Oh boy, this is about a level 10 of complete awkwardness. For one Pidge just fell back, and I was rubbing her stomach. I mean like, what kind of friend does that!? I felt my face heat a a bit, but I just pushed that aside and helped Pidge up.
"Sorry Pidge"
"Yeah you should be sorry, ya perv!"
"Welp, I see you haven't changed one bit!"
I said as me and Pidge both laughed at many more stupid jokes we made. After awhile me and Pidge just sat down on the "sand" for a second and talked.
"Lance, I need to ask you something."
"What is it pigeon?"
"What am-    Pidge's sentence was interpreted by a huge blast of light, and an explosion coming from behind us. We looked back and saw a huge army of Galra fighters. "Get you're bayard!" Pidge yelled as she swiftly dodged the fires of the Galra's guns. I got out my bayard, but then noticed.....where was Matt?
As I was thinking that, Matt yelled as he was being pulled into the arms of one of the Galra. "Drop you're weapons, or he will die!" The garla said, as he pulled the blaster gun close to Matt's neck. Pidge signaled me to drop my weapon, and I did just that. I could tell she had a plan, but would it work was the question. I dropped my weapon, and I saw Pidge do the same. She lifted her hands up, and right at the last second she pulled out a small knife like thing out of her pocket, and ran up to the Galra soldier. "Let my brother go!" She yelled as she stabbed the knife into the armor of the Galra. The soldier flinched, but let Matt go. Although he let Matt go, he then grasped Pidge around the neck and yelled "Back to the ship!!" Then, and only then I realized they were gonna take Pidge away from me.

"Stop!" I yelled as I shot the Galra soldier in the leg twice. But he didn't stop running. I followed them all The was to their ship before they pushed me off and took of into the rest of outer space. I felt my legs stop working, and I fell to the ground. I felt warm tears stream down my face as I remembered the slight terror in her face as the dragged her away. I didn't want to lose her...I didn't want to lose one of my friends.... but is that really what friends say to each other? No...friends don't think the way I feel for Pidge......I think I have a crush...OH GOD!!!

Matt's POV:
I saw Lance crying a bit over where Pidge was taken...I was going to cheer her up when I realized, something up in the sky. It was the black and red lion? That could only mean that Shiro and Keith can help us get Pidge back! I thought as I made my was to the now landed lions....only to see nobody in either of them. I guess it's up to just me and Lance to rescue Pidge...
