Chapter 8

Lance's POV:

Me and Matt were in the blue lion. Matt was in the back, trying to pick up a location on Pidge. He seemed so calm, yet so worried. Sometimes I wish I was more like him, he and Pidge were so much alike.
Instead of remaining calm, I was scared. I was scared to think of what they were possibly doing to Pidge.....my friend. What if I never get to see her bright smile anymore....or her beautiful Carmel colored eyes....or just her in general.......WAIT WHAT!?!
I suddenly blushed at these thoughts, but this time I couldn't just brush it off as nothing anymore...I had to just face the facts that

I had a crush on Pidge.

"Lance! I'm locked on to her location, it might take about a day in a half. But we're gonna find her Lance!"  Matt said as he showed me Pidge's laptop.
"Ok, Let's do this!!!" I yelled as I sped up Blue.
I smiled, i knew once we got there I was going to give Pidge the biggest hug. She would be safe. And then we would go and look for Shiro and Keith, and it would all be ok back at the castle ship.
The I got a call from allura.

I clicked the screen on Blue's keypad, and answered the call. "Lance! Where are you?" Allura said as she looked me in the eyes with all seriousness. "Im with Matt in the blue lion, looking for Pidge.."
"What do you mean?"
"She was captured by Galra!"
"That's terrible Lance! But might I ask, where are Shiro and Keith?"
"I have no idea, but we'll find them to!"
"*sigh* ok, and Hunk wants to talk to you." Allura said as she walked away, and hunk came running in front of the screen.
"Lance! Where are you!? I'm worried about you guys!"
"Hunk, buddy. It's all ok, just keep guard on my room until I get back ok? I know Coran sneaks in there for my stuff."
"Rodger that!" Hunk said as he gave one bright warm smile before walking off. And then I ended the call.

"Hey Matt, allura was calling~"
"I-I've gotten over her!" Matt said as he blushed.
"Honestly dude, I can tell you haven't.
"Whatever Lance, just don't screw up Blue's controls."
"Yeah, yeah whatever!" I saw as a laughed slightly.

Then my smile faded, as I wished Pidge was the one making me laugh. After awhile I realized it had gone silent, due to Matt falling asleep. "Don't worry Pidge, I- we will be there soon..."
I silently said as a looked as the sparkling stars around me.
