It Hurts!!!

Delirious POV

I kick it off me and as I start to back away. He let out a low growl to me as I start to notice his body... he was missing chunks out off his body and ear. His fur looked stained and scruffy and full off blood. "S-Scar..." I stutter.

My eyes water as he kept growling at me. I quickly turn and run. I run down a few paths to the park. I run in the centre of the park and start to weep. "Why does everyone I love keep getting taken away from me?!" I scream at the top of my lungs.

I fall to my knees as I bury my face in my hands. I cry as it starts to get cloudy in the sky. Cool specks of rain fall on me making me shiver. I jump when I feel a hand on my shoulder. "Ah!" I scream.

I turn my head quickly backing away. "Please save me Delirious. I'm in so much pain. IT HURTS!!!"

I look around frantically as screams and crys fill my head. "AHHH!!" I scream covering my ears as I fall to the floor.

I suddenly get vilently shook as I snap out of it. I gasp as my body starts to shake in fear. I look forward to see Wildcat with his hands on my shoulders. "What happened dude?!" He asks while helping me up.

"I-I don't k-know." I shook.

"Wildcat looks at me worryingly as he turns around. He walks away from me as I froze in the spot. "Well, ya comin'? Wildcat asks turning his head.

I quickly nodd as I caught up to him. "Any idea where they are?" Wildcat sighs while kicking a rock.

I felt the rain strengthen a bit as we hurried along paths and paths of concrete. My feet, legs and head ached so much. I groan to every step I take until Wildcat stops. He looks round a corner and gestures me to look. I peek down the road to see people leading someone into the hospital with people guarding doors. "Yeesh, since when did they become pampered folk."

"Not now Wildcat." I sigh.

"Ok so, here's the plan. They definitely will have people looking at entrances soo..." He eyes the sewer entrance.

I gag and cross my arms. "No way."

"Fine, stay out here alone then." Wildcat mutters while lifting up the heavy latch.

I growl and walk towards him. "That's what I thought." He snickers.

I start to climb down the ladder after Wildcat when a strong sent hit my nose. "Bluh!!" I gag.

"Ugh, it's just a sewer. Hurry up it's not far. I can't stand your noises of disgust." Wildcat scowls.

I glare at him as I pinch my nose. We walk down the stinky sewer as I step on something soft and squishy... "Ewww!!!"

"Ugh, what now..." Wildcat groans.

He looks at me with my foot in shit. He starts to giggle. "Better watch your step nextime." He murmurs.

I curse as I try to wipe my shoe on the stone. "Ok, I think this is it." He whispers.

"How do you know?" I ask.

"Blank guess." He blankly states.

I sigh as he carefully lifts up the hatch. "Ok this is good. I think we're behind the building." He whispers again.

I nodd as we climb out and look at our surroundings. "Ok, do you have a weapon?" He asks me.

I pull out my pocket knife and sigh. "Good enough." He mutters.

"C'mon," He whispers while heading to a broken window.

I follow after when he nods at me. "Keep low, try and not get caught because who knows how many people are in there and what they might do to you. And... try to stay behind me."

I nodd as he enters first. I follow in after. We creep towards the door to the hallway. Wildcat looks out the small window in the door. "Ok, I saw 2 people just turn the corner." Wildcat sighs while turning the handle.

"Ready?" He asks.

I nodd as I grasp the small knife in my hand. He walks out to check the coast is clear before issuing me to follow. We quickly trail up the stairs. "What room do you think he's in..." I ask.

Wildcat shruggs before rushing ahead. I fall back a bit to look through some rooms windows. But thats when I hear it... footsteps. "Wow, do you know what that smell is Jack? I know it's the apocalypse but it just suddenly smells like a sewerage here."

I quickly turn around to see Wildcat was gone... 'Shit.'

I quickly dive into a random room and hid behind a counter. I hear the footsteps walk by as I sigh in relief. "Hey!! Who the fuck are you!?" I hear down the hall.

'Oh no...'

I peak out the door to see Wildcat fighting the 2 people who just walked past me. "G-go Delirious!!" Wildcat shouts whike getting beaten up.

I sprint down the halls trying to get away. I jump when I hear a yell from down the hall. "Where'd that boy go?!"

I breath heavily as I turn a sharp corner. I stop for a second to catch my breath. 'Shit, shit, shit. What am I going to do?!'

I hear more footsteps close by so I hide behind a desk. "Sir we have a intruder in the building. Young 5 foot tall boy. He was last seen on the 2nd floor..."

The voice started to trail of as I sigh in relief. 'Ok, I just need to find Mini, hopefully get Wildcat and get out. It's not like all the pressure's on me or anything.'

I walk from behind the desk and sneak down the hallways. I peek through various windows in hope to find Mini. But then I yelp when I get a yank on the arm. "Ahh!!"

My mouth quickly gets covered as I start to shake. "Don't Move."
