I glanced at the clock. It was 7:30. I wore something I wouldn't normally wear.. I thought I had to look my best.

I heard a knock on the door and quickly took a second to calm myself before opening the door. Wow. He was wearing black ripped jeans and vans with a plain white top and bomber jacket. He looked... cute.
"Hey.." He said as his voice made my heart skip a beat.
"Hi" I smiled and stepped out of the door "where are we going?" I asked as I felt his hand lock with mine.
"Do you like movies?" Shawn asked.
I nodded and we made our way out of the block.
When we got to the movie theatre I followed him in and we took our seats.
After the movie I felt happy with myself. I was happy that I had been able to move on and I hoped this relationship worked out. Although another part of me was still with Daniel and it questioned my relationship with Shawn.. was I ready? I was still confused. But,like Shawn had mentioned on our way home, there was no rush and he didn't want to pressure me into a relationship that I didn't want to be in.
When we got home he stayed for a bit.
"Can we take a picture?" I asked
He agreed and we took a picture and posted on Instagram. ((Pretend it's Shawn)) ——————— @ximellax
