The next day started early, well, for me it did. I woke up and Daniel's arms were still wrapped tightly around my waist and I'm pretty sure I was about to fall off the couch if his arms hadn't have been there. I went to roll off to start getting ready for the day but I only noticed that Daniel's grip got tighter. I giggled to myself before attempting to release his grip, although, this only resulted in his grip getting tighter.
I turned around to face him a buried my head in the crook of his neck not really wanting to get up myself.
"Daniel.." I whispered against his skin, "I have to get up. Come on, let me go"
Although every part of me wanted to stay, a quick glance at the kitchen implied that that was out of the question. It had become apparent that the last time this house had been cleaned was the last time that I had cleaned it.... a few months ago.
Daniel was still reluctant, although holding me any tighter than he was was physically impossible so he said and did nothing ; probably pretending to be asleep.
I heard soft footprints on the ceiling above us, the boys were waking up. I didn't mind them seeing me like this, but I clearly had a lot to prove to them and I did not want to be seen as "lazy" especially on the day I was to be moving in.
This time I gave no hesitation and wriggled out of his touch which resulted in a soft whimper as though he was a dog which also earned a small giggle from me.
Obviously -in my head- time had seemed to freeze as I looked over at Daniel and seemed to notice everything making it feel like hours had gone by.. but no, just a few seconds. His messy, Morning hair flopped over his face and was just short enough to see his closed eyes where his long, dark eyelashes brushed over the top of his cheeks. I imagined his eyes open and getting to see his deep sea blue eyes flutter open. In the morning, this was usually followed by his award winning smile with his tooth gap that I found adorable. Although he wasn't smiling at this point. However, his smile was replaced by his soft lips slightly open producing a soft snore.
I was quickly awoken from my thoughts by Corbyn waving a hand in front of my face sending small splashes of red to appear on my face. He just smiled and sat at the end of Daniel's feet as I made my way upstairs and into Daniel's room.
I didn't have any clothes at the house yet as they were still all in my apartment so I threw on one of Daniel's hoodies and wore it as a dress (below ⤵️)
I headed back downstairs resulting in a double glance from the, now awake, Daniel.
"Is that mine?" He said standing up and walking over to me.
"Yeah, is that okay?" I said.
"Course" he smiled.
I walked over to the kitchen and started washing up, the amount of mess that was apparent around the house suggested that maybe I was needed in this house. I giggled to myself at the thought. At home I wasn't the tidiest but I hated other peoples mess, hence why my apartment wasn't too tidy meaning Dolly (my dog) had to sleep between the piles of clothes everywhere, I don't think she minded though, I would guess that it was actually quite comfortable and she could also hide away from my awful dancing when I was bored.
Funnily enough, the washing up didn't take long, there wasn't much to wash up and I could gather that they had been either mostly eating out, or getting a delivery.
The boys all went out leaving me alone. I hadn't really spoken to any of them today and the feeling that I might only be here to clean their house loomed over me.
...to be continued
