I got into my ski gear in the bathroom and I was very intrigued to see what Daniel looked like in his.

I stepped out of the bathroom in my coat, trousers, snow boots and I carried my helmet and goggles in my hands.

"Aw! You look like a teddy bear!!" I almost squealed as I jumped into his arms almost knocking Daniel over.

He laughed. "I expect lots of cuddles then."

"Your wish is my command," I said and I hugged him tightly.

He unwrapped my arms and put his hands on my shoulders.

"I would love to cuddle all day, but we better get going if we want to get out before the others, is that okay boo?"

I nodded and took his hand as we walked out of the house. Being as quiet as we could.
We heard the boys busy in their rooms, unpacking and also the sound of Zach exploring the house. Leaning up against the wall outside the house, were everyone's skis that had been rented by Tyler for us all. They were all blue apart from one set that was pink, Clearly meant for me. But, being the feminist that I was, picked up one of the blue sets and followed after Daniel who had already started to walk. I caught up with him and jumped onto his back and kissed his neck.

He chuckled. "I've noticed your affection recently, it's nice."

"Making up for all the times I pushed you away I guess.." I said, still against his neck.

"It's appreciated." He smiled and took hold of my legs.

The mansion was surprisingly close to the slopes and I couldn't wait to get up there.

Whilst we waited for the ski lift to arrive at the bottom of the slope I could sense Daniel's uneasiness and made it my priority to calm him.

"You ever skied before?" I tried to conceal the fact that I had noticed his nervous disposition.

"Many times."

This confused me.

"Wait, really?" I was clearly mistaken by his aura.

"Yeah, I love the sport."

"Then why are you so....nervous?" I asked now very intrigued.

"Ahah, You'll See."

I raised an eyebrow at him as our lift arrived. There was something romantic about going up a ski-lift and the fact that Daniel was looking very attractive in his gear, added to it. He climbed on to the lift and helped me up to the seat next to him.

We locked fingers as the bar in-front of us was put down. I pulled his hand into my lap and rested my head on his shoulder. Nothing was said for a while which only left me with one thing to think about. It was of course why Daniel was so.. or seemed so nervous.

"Daniel.." I said turning to face him.

"Ella." He replied.

"I want to know..." I continued.

He chuckled to himself.

"Hey, don't think about it. Don't fuss your pretty little mind about it, only time will tell."

Only time will tell? What was that supposed to mean?! It was eventually forgotten about when we reached the top of the slope and he no longer seemed uneasy.

We both jumped off the lift still hand-in-hand and Daniel stepped onto the snow with his goggles now on. He looked gorgeous. I felt that feeling that a sixth grader gets when their crush says hi. I just wanted to hold him and never let go.

However, he was soon nearing the edge. Truth was, I wasn't great at skiing and it was now clear to me that the boys must have all been here before, making me the "newcomer" and also the least experienced at skiing. Great.

"Daniel.. wait." I said as he was about to go. It made him wobble a bit but he soon found his footing and turned to face me.

"Yeah?"

"I..Ive never skied before."

He laughed and walked over to me.

"Well then, lets go down together." He smiled and took my hand.

He pulled me along to the edge so that he was backwards and held my hands. I wanted so desperately to see his eyes but his orange goggles took their place. I put mine on and nodded giving the sign I was ready.

He pushed off and somehow managed to keep a slow pace going. It baffled me how he could be good at everything.

I was a little wobbly but, seeing as Daniel was doing most of the work; steering, pacing and guiding, it was easy enough for me to just relax.

He was often looking behind him, making sure he wouldn't bump into anything but the soft snow had no secrets and it was a smooth ride to the bottom.

That was I until one of my skis slipped.
