Chapter 8: The Rescue Mission

We went to the Dark Castle, or as Slender Man calls it, "The Palace of Tortured Glass". It didn't look like glass at first glance. But when we came closer, it wasn't made of any mineral at all. It really WAS glass. apparently tinted glass. Slender Man plotted out the sneak in routs "...and if we run into any trouble---" "I run up and stab 'em all!" Jeff interrupted. "But what if it's Zalgo, genius?" Kate said. "From Slender Man's knowledge, the only time Zalgo gets his ass off of his throne is to kidnap one of his proxies, so in that case, Jeff is right." I said as Jeff gave a smug grin, not that he had to. I went through Zalgo's escape hatch. I was in the prison in a matter of seconds. there were billions of monsters that were rejected as simple nightmares. I think I recognized 3 or 4 of them. I came across a monochrome link "BEN?" I asked. The monochrome link looked at me. "Who are you?" BEN asked. "I'm Vincent, I need to get you, Herobrine and Mickey Mouse out of here. BEN scoffed "This place is inescapable, not even a videogame nerd such as myself would be able to escape this. You just got yourself into a prison" BEN said. But while he was talking, I was 5 seconds away from unlocking him. I opened the cage door. "Inescapable, you say?" I said. I found herobrine (unimportant) and I found Mickey. "Mickey...! Mickey...!" I called out quietly. Mickey slightly turned his head. "Vincent?" Mickey called out quietly. "Yes, it's me, my friend." I quietly said. Mickey walked toward the door. "Vincent...! How are you not captured yet...? Get outta here before Zalgo gets you...!" Mickey quietly warned me. "That's not a problem, Zalgo doesn't get off his ass unless taking a proxy. As if on cue I dropped the key. "Fuck it." I said under my breath. I took a bench and did what Will Turner did in Pirates of the Caribbean. I heard a voice, I turned back to find Zalgo. "Foolish child." Zalgo said. "You couldn't just abandon your friends like Slender Man. His seventh mouth opened causing numerous arms to come out of the ground. Jeff and KageKao came from the ceiling to attack the arms, it's worked...for a while. But then the arms attacked THEM. BEN, whom was recently released, lit the arms on fire, the ones with gashes on them disintegrated. But the three remaining arms came toward BEN and chucked him. As if on cue, a tendril came toward the 7th mouth of Zalgo and impaled him. "Ugh...huh..." Zalgo groaned. Zalgo twitched as he dissolved. A crown took his place. Slender Man teleported to the crown and picked it up and put it on his head. As the crown dissolved into his head, we were slowly transported back to the Slender Manor. "Uh, boss?" Mickey said. "If it's alright with you, I'd like to go home." Slender Man turned around. "Will you truly be happy?" Slender Man asked. "Gosh. I'll actually be really happy." Mickey said. "Suit yourself." Slender Man said. Mickey Mouse walked through the doors singing the "Steamboat Willie" theme. For once he actually felt happy.
