                           {Clary}
Clary ran until her lungs were burning, legs were aching and until her tears stopped flowing.

She hated crying, she hadn't cried for a while, until today- where it seemed all she could do was cry.
"All Jace Herondale's fault." She thought bitterly, coming to a stop by another colourful house street like her own.
She wandered into the green area every estate had and sat down on a bench, breathing in through her nose and out through her mouth until her breathing went back to normal. She took out her phone and miserably read Jonathon's message.

JC: I'm sorry,Fray. I didn't mean that. Please respond.

She was typing her reply when another message came in.

JC: I'm not going to be texting you anymore.

Her heart dropped and she hastily typed back, desperation taking place.

CF: What? Why? I'm sorry,Jon,I didn't mean to annoy you. Please don't do anything yet, think about it.

JC: I can't keep hurting you. I don't like lying to you. This wasn't your fault,it was mine. I'm done,Fray.

CF: Stop! Please,Jon. What's going on?

JC: Clary. Meet me at Taki's tomorrow at 12pm.

Her breath hitched as he used her name, and the fact he was actually asking to meet her.

CF: Jon?...

But he had already gone offline.

Clary stared blankly at the grass before standing up slowly.
"How does he know my name? I never told him my name...does he know me personally?" She thought numbly.
She ran a hand through her hair, her eyes never leaving the spot on the grass.

She slipped her phone back into her pocket, blinking as if out of a trance.
Clary started walking back to her own estate, her footsteps slapping against the pavement the only sound that filled the eerie silence.
She opened the gate slowly, earning a creak from the rusty bolts before ascending the steps.
She opened the door and instantly started walking up the stairs, hearing Luke's light snores from inside the living room.
She sat down on the edge of her bed and leaned back until her hair fanned around her and she was completely lying down. She was instantly dragged into a dreamless sleep, her last thought about Jonathon.

                  *               *              *
Clary woke up groggy and tired-even though she'd gone to sleep quite early.
It took her a mere minute before she was hit with yesterday's events.

She groaned as she slid off her bed, still in her clothes from yesterday.
She padded her way into the bathroom and locked the door.
She stared at her reflection, noting the purple half moon's under her eyes, dry lips and tangled hair.
She sighed deeply before peeling off her clothes, stepping into the shower.
The scent of strawberries from her shampoo filled her nostrils and she stood there for a minute or two as the water ran down her back, sniffing the bottle. She finally rubbed it into her head, massaging it into her scalp.
She used her mango body wash as the shampoo washed out of her hair, the two scents mixing together, waking Clary up.
She finally applied a raspberry conditioner to her hair that had come with the strawberry shampoo.
She stepped out of the shower after she'd washed everything out, towelling her damp hair as she padded back inside her room.
She dried her hair quickly so that it wouldn't frizz and styled it into loose curls that ended at the small of her back.
She put on a robe as she searched her closet, not exactly knowing what to wear.
Her palms started sweating as the thought of seeing Jonathon floated past her mind.
She wondered what he was doing in Cali, wanted to laugh with him for real and wanted to finally see him.
She grinned as she pulled out an off-the-shoulder white crop top and high waisted black skinny jeans.
She slid on her battered black converse and sat down at her desk.
She pulled open the drawer in which she kept her makeup and dragged her mirror closer to her.
She applied a light bit of concealer under her eyes to hide how tired she looked and added mascara to her eyelashes. She pouted as she applied her signature lip gloss and smiled happily with the finished result.
Not much- but she didn't exactly like to cake her face in makeup.
She crept out her room, hurrying down the stairs silently.
She grabbed her purse and was out of the house in mere seconds.

She rung her hands nervously as she got nearer and nearer to Taki's.
Jonathon. He was going to be there.
He was here.
Her chest became tight as she tried suck in a breath. She was metres away, getting closer and closer by each timid step she took.
She took a long steady breath before pushing open the door to Taki's.
She looked up,not exactly knowing who to look out for other than a vague description of "Blonde and 18."
She scanned the bustling diner and spotted a blonde head at the very back.

Clary bit her lip unsurely as she approached the head that was bent over, causing a mass of golden blond curls to fall downward as the person stared at their phone underneath the table.
Clary forced her feet to move forward, her heart beating rapidly as she stepped closer and closer to the table until it was too obvious she was standing there.
"Uh...Jonathon?" She asked hopefully.
The boy looked up and her breath hitched.

Gold met Green.
