My mouth dropped and I could not believe it. He was practically my neighbour. My heart beat quickened as I saw him carrying those heavy boxes into the house. He was wearing a plain white, short sleeved shirt and some dark jeans. Just then my phone rang and I answered it.
"Hello?" I said.

"Hey, I heard you had maths with the new teacher. Is it true what everyone's saying about him?" Lola asked. Too eagerly.

"Depends what you've heard." I said, collapsing back down onto the bed. "Everyone knows everything about him I can't keep up."

"Well there's the one that he's hot, there's the one that he's divorced and the one that he lives on your road!?" She shouted. How did she already know about that? How did anyone already know about that? I stayed silent for a few more moments. I started daydreaming about everything in general. "Hello? Margo? You still there?" She asked.

"Sorry, yeah. He does." I said. I listened to her ramble on for the next hour about how I was 'so lucky'. After another half hour I heard my mum shouting up the stairs for me to come down for dinner. I didn't want to eat but I did anyway. I sat down and waited for my mum to serve the food. Yet again, my dad was sat on his phone. I didn't bother to try talk to him, he never made an effort with me so why should I? I ate my food in five minutes and retreated back to my bed. I fell asleep at 7, I didn't want to see or talk to my parents for the rest of my life.

To my surprise, I woke the next morning to my father screaming at me from down the stairs. "MARGO GET DOWN HERE!" I was intrigued by this remark, so I sluggishly got out of bed and trugded downstairs to the living room. My mum and dad sat on the sofa talking quietly.

"What?" I asked. They stopped talking and looked over at me. I was in my Mickey mouse pyjamas shorts and a tweety top. My hair was a mess and I realised I had one sock on. My dad spoke first "I got invited to a formal occasion tonight at the park side building in town. I got you and your mother invited so I'd like you to come along." He said. Formal was not my thing, being social was also not my thing. This occasion probably meant I would have to stand there looking presentable and happy and shake people's hands and smile like a 'normal person'. "Fine." I said and walked back upstairs to get ready for school.

I got to school a little later than usual and had packed the formal clothes that was going to wear for tonight. My parents had told me that I had to change after school and go straight to the venue. I really didn't want to do this. I didn't have Maths today so it was kinda dull but I was on the Second floor almost all day today. I was walking to my art lesson and to do so I had to walk past his classroom. I walked up the stairs and looked down at my shoes. I pushed the stairwell doors open and turned to my right. As I turn I collide with someone and it sends me flying backwards, hitting my head on the floor. "Shit" I said, quite loudly as I touched the back of my head.

"Margo! I'm so Sorry!" He said. His papers were all scattered over the floor. "Are you alright?" He reached for my hand and I took it. His hands were smooth and soft, softer than I initially expected. He pulled me up and held my hand to keep me steady, I felt dizzy and unwell. "Margo? Are you ok?" He asked again. I shook my head. I couldn't form any words at that moment. "You need to miss next period, come into the classroom. I'll get the school nurse" He helped me into his class room and sat me down at his usual seat. He asked me if I was ok to be left alone just while he fetched the nurse. I managed some words and I told him I was fine and didn't need anything. He went anyway.
