"alice?"
alice lifted her head from her pillow and saw Michael sitting at the foot of her bed, she noticed how the warmth she once felt was filled with a lonely coldness. she slightly frowned at the lack of Calum beside her. she lifted her body up against the wall and crossed her hands over her chest.
"where's calum?" alice asked, Michael had a look of disappointment on his face but was soon replaced with a smile. the two were clearly up to something.
"he had to go do something with luke and ash, he'll be back in the afternoon."
"oh."

alice was laying in her bed, as Michael instructed. earlier the boy had tied a scarf around her head and said something about love, but alice didn't pay attention, so she barley caught what he said to her.
alice could hear footsteps approach her, then a familiar voice came after, "take off the scarf alice." alice did just that, she reached behind her head and tried to untie it but instead just slid it off her head when she wasn't able to do just that. when the scarf was off it revealed Michael in a suit and tie, with a very annoyed look on his face. "i was promised money for putting this on" he pointed to the suit "now, lets get you to your boyfriend before he cuts my balls off." Michael reached for alice's hand.
"he's not my boyfriend." alice stated as she took Michael's hand. Michael just shrugged.
they really weren't together, alice and Calum, in all honesty Calum hated her. they went to school together since pre-k and since then calum would always find away to piss off posh alice, alice was known to be a goody goody, from the time in kinder-garden when cal poured glue in alice's hair or the time in grade 5 where in science he lit her hair on fire, everyone still questions where a 10 year old got fire, but lets just say there was a lot of times through the years.
Michael led alice to her backyard, he opened the door to see rose petals on the floor that led to a slightly angry calum. alice was confused, either way she walked towards calum and smiled. "hi" alice greeted as she looked at cal.
"i don't want to be here, so lets make this quick." calum led alice over to the small dinning table towards the back of the yard, calum jerked alice's chair from the table and left it for her to sit then made his way to his chair and sat.

the two sat on alice's couch cuddling, in which alice found nice but made calum feel uncomfortable, a movie was playing and neither of them liked it but thought the other did so they acted interested. eventually alice got bored, so she started a game of teasing calum until he would break.
"cal?" alice sat up with her back facing calum and lifting up her shirt "could you help me take off my bra? i cant quite reach it."
calum gave her an annoyed look. "you're a girl, figure it out."
after many fake attempts of trying to take it off alice just gave up but kept her shirt off, claiming it was hot and then having calum turn on a fan, alice laid her head on calums lap and kept squirming trying to annoy him; cuase angry calum really turned everyone on. calum had enough and roughly picked up alice and laid her on the couch and then hovered over her, leaned down and roughly began to kiss her lips. alice was token back but when she processed it she ran her fingers through his hair. things just started to get heated but nothing had escalated pass the make out session.
"touch me." alice had let the words slip through her lips,they were both suprised. calum has afraid, he didnt want to have his first time with alice on her couch; he wanted it to be special, but he didnt know why it had to be special. he hated alice, right? calum let his hands slowly trail down her torso, and just as he got to the waist band of her jeans, michael had bursted through the back door.
"we have pizza..." michaels voice faded off as calum quickly got off of alice and let her put on her shirt. "michael?" one of the boys called from behind him, "sorry guys, alice and calum are just cleaning up and are gonna meet us in the yard in a couple." michael awkwardly walked out of the house and closed the door.
"you mess everything up alice." calum mumbled as he put his head in his hands.
"excuse me?" alice stood up in front of calum.
"you mess everything up alice! okay? you ruined my life, and now Michael knows what we were doing and he is gonna tell the boys!" calum shouted back at alice, and the yell could for sure be heard outside.
alice turned off the television and picked up all the garbage that had fallen onto the floor, "its nothing to be ashamed of cal! its not like they are gonna tell the whole town, they're your friends they wouldn't do that."
calum stood up from the couch and walked up to alice, "its the fact that you think you can get away with anything now."
"now? what do you mean by now?" alice watched as calum walked to the back door "since you've gotten cancer, alice. you think you have a pass for everything." calum opened the door, and walked out.
alice was gonna leave the conversation to that, but she was too angry.
she followed Calum out to the yard, "calum!" alice yelled. the said boy turned around and just as soon as he did, alice put her right hand in to a fist and thrusted her hand towards calums face. the boy stumbled back and put his hands over his left eye.
"i didn't ask to have cancer you prick! i didn't ask for this to happen! im sorry if i messed everything up okay?"
alice walked back into her house and heard the boys gasp. as alice walked into her house her vision had suddenly became blurry and she felt light headed. after a few minutes of trying to balance herself out, ashton had came into the house and saw alice looking very fatigue.
ashton walked to her "are you alright?"
alice nodded, "is Calum alright?"
ashton chuckled, "he's fine, just came to check on you and get some ice." ashton walked to her kitchen and alice trailed behind. ashton looked through alice's cupboards until he found plastic bags, he took out two baggies and then walked to her fridge and filled both the bags with ice. then handed one to alice.
"put it on your hand."
alice did just that, the coldness hit her hand. "thanks ash."
ashton smiled and walked out to the back yard, to give calum his ice. when ash left and closed the door, alice just felt a bit lonely. so she walked across her living room to the back door, she slowly slide open the door and saw as everyone slowly turned their heads to her. she felt all of their gazes on her as she awkwardly turned around to close the door, she slowly walked over to calum; and damn, did she do some damage. calums left eye was slowly being enclosed by a blackish purplish bruise, alice felt bad; she really did but something inside her made her feel good about what she did to him .calum didnt even look at her, and that hit hard. alice decided to speak up "are you alright?"
"peachy." calum scoffed, his one hand had held up the small bag of ice and the other was on his lap. after a few minutes of alice just kind of starring at the boy, she finally spoke up.
"why do you have to be such a dick sometimes cal?" alice asked the boy as she played with her hangnail. honestly, the boy never told her why he acted so cruel to her since day one.
"why did you get cancer?"
"that has nothing to do--" alice's breath cuaght in her throat as calum's face was just inches away from hers, calum gave alice a butterfly kiss. "just answer it." calum said.
" i don't know cal, i dont know why i got cancer." alice had a tear roll down her face, calum saw it and immediately kissed it away.
"that's your answer alice, i just dont know." calum kissed alice's cheek and then walked into the house, leaving a confused alice with a hand to her cheek trying to savor the kiss that calum gave her.
(an: okay so this took like forever to write because it got deleted twice and i haven't got to it cause I've been crazy trying to get everything ready for school (which is on tuesday) but anyway tomorrow is my birthday, so its like "happy birthday, but you cant do anything to celebrate cause you have school tomorrow." so yeah)
