Dovewing was sitting beside her sister and mother, pelts sleek because well, it was the reaping, you had to look nice. All the clans were terrified. Mapleshade had another battle when the clans were still recovering from the Great Battle. Redwillow and Mapleshade came up with something to make the clans suffer. They called it the Slender Games where 5 cats from each clan go into the territory's from all the clans and fight till the death. Mapleshade made sure to drag skyclan back. She wanted them to suffer too.
"We will start with skyclans tributes." Redwillow announced. Dovewing looked at the long legged different cats. She watched as he picked up the leafs from the skyclan pile. Each leaf had the cats clawmarks. Every cats had diffrent clawmarks.
"Leafstar" We waited as the clans gasped.
"Yes you can have leaders you idiots!" Mapleshade growled.
"Jumptail, Springfoot, Sharpclaw and Treekit. Skyclan tributes come forwared." He asked. They nervously came forward.
"Riverclan tributes, Willowshine, Mistystar, Pebblefur, Minnowtail and Riverkit! please come forward." Dovewing watched as they sadly came forward.
"Ratscar, Tigerheart, Rowenclaw, Twanypelt and Firepaw. Shadowclan tributes come forward." Redwillow boombed.
"No!" Dovewing screamed inside her head "not Tigerheart please no! Let me go in to save him please!" She thought.
"Windclan, Breezepelt, Nightcloud,Crowfeather, Heathertail and Stormkit. Come forward. He commanded. Finally cats she didn't care for! Dovewing thought.
"Last and the least Thunderclan!" Redwillow laughed
"I'll do the honers." Mapleshade growled
"From Thunderclan , " Mapleshade hissed. Dovewing tensed as she picked up a leaf.
"Lilykit, Toadstep, Ivypool, Leafpool and Dovewing." Mapleshade meowed with pleasure. Dovewing sighed. Her sister and Lilykit! Why! She thought. She had to fight against Tigerheart too! She didn't want him to die but she didn't want to die!
Dovewing leaped up on her big stone where she was tributes were suppose to sit. She looked around and saw lilykit struggling to get on her rock. Dovewing leaped off her rock and padded over to lillykit. She grabbed lilykit by her scruff and dropped her on her rock. Dovewing went back to her rock and sat down.
