Slipping into the Gryffindor tower and dorm room was an easy task, no one was awake.
I pulled fresh clothes from my trunk and found the restroom blissfully empty. After a quick shower and inspection in the mirror, I pulled the stopper out of the green bottle from Draco. I dropped some of the thick, clear liquid onto my palms. My scalp tingled and warmed as I applied it to my dark waves.
Fascinated, I watched dozens of iridescent hands appear around my head. Each one pulled, tugged, and smoothed my locks into place—leaving it with a messy quality that looked like I spent hours on it. The hands disappeared.
I ran my fingers through the smooth locks, chuckling when it sprang back to its new home on my head. "That Slytherin cheater."
Sure that people would be getting up soon, I decided to sit in the Common room and wait for Ron and Hermione.
I held a book open as if I was reading but thought about Draco trembling with need, waiting for my command. Then the feel of him wrapped around me, heat, and just the right amount of pressure to milk me dry. It was better than I ever dreamed it would be.
Footfalls clomped down the stairs and pulled me from my pleasant thoughts. Several Gryffindor's made their way out the door and down the stairs before Hermione and Ron's mumbled tones could be heard.
Ron was saying, "...never came in as far as I know."
"I'm sure he's fine," Hermione said.
"I am." I stood from the couch. Taking a deep breath, I said, "But there's something that I need to speak with you two about."
"Hey, Harry," Ron said.
"Are you going to tell us where you were?" Hermione lifted her chin. Several more Gryffindors walked through the room, slowing their pace when seeing us.
"We need a little privacy."
Ron and Hermione nodded. Without a word, we walked to Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. After checking to see if the ghost was hiding and not spotting her, I leaned against one of the restroom stalls.
Hermione asked, "What have you done to your hair?"
"What do you mean?"
She scrunched her face up as if she was offended and moved closer. "It looks good."
I smiled, thinking of Draco's potion. "I'm having a good hair day."
"It looks like you had a stylist do it. Did you put something in it?" She asked while playing with a few strands.
I shook my head and swatted her hand away playfully. "Yes. Draco gave me something for it. And thanks for the compliment."
"What did you want to talk to us about, Harry?" The glint in Hermione's eye's told me that she already knew about Draco and I.
"I'm sure you've noticed that I'm—"
"Distant," Ron said."
"Brooding," Hermione added.
"Moody."
I held my hand up to keep Hermione from adding to the list. "Sorry, I've been preoccupied with things."
"I doubt Draco Malfoy would appreciate being called a thing," Hermione said.
I sucked in a deep breath. My eyes darted between her and Ron. "No, he probably wouldn't."
