NANDINI'S POV :
I was in the middle of a perfectly perfect dream and suddenly there is a ringing noise blowing up my ears. I opened my eyes and realised, I'm away from the dreamland, in my own room, with my giant teddy beside me. My eyes were stubborn in opening and it felt like the heaviest things falling down. I stomped out of bed, and I welcome my first day of school with a drowsy smile.
" you're awake? " I heard a knock on the door.
" yeaaappp " I said in a sleepy tone.
" Breakfast is ready. Make it quick and come down. "
I nodded my head as if my brother was able to see it. I brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. After a great struggle of rummaging through the closet full of clothes, I chose a magenta pink coloured sweatshirt NOT JUST PINK and black ripped jeans. I changed into them and put on very light makeup. The mascara and lipstick were a must. I then walked downstairs.
I stuffed the not so burnt toast into my mouth and unlocked my phone. Useless notifications showed up. As I scrolled down, a particular notification caught my eye.

Felt like my heart stopped when I saw him mention Soha.
Are they staying together? No, right? What if they really are?? I started messing up mind with stupid questions.
" Won't you swallow?? " I choked on the toast when I saw my brother staring at it half hanging from my mouth.
" careful, Nandu! " he handed me a glass of water and I immediately gulped it down.
" What is it that made you choke? " he tried to peek into my phone and I, being a good girl did not allow him to do that. " We have a rule. No checking out others mobile, right? " I said and pushed him back.
Actually we once made a rule that we wouldn't check each other's mobiles. Like you know we need to have secrets too. Lol but we don't actually have any. I share everything with him and he does the same. But I don't know why do we even have this stupid rule. Anyway, if he knew that it was Manik's pic, he would definitely scold me for acting childish, crushing over a taken person.
