Harry and Kelsey's life together was no where near easy. In fact, the day after Harry had chased Kelsey down to basically profess his love for her, and to have Kelsey requite it, he had to leave. The tour wasn't going to stop just because of their relationship. And neither was One Direction's fame. The band grew infamously which made having a steady relationship extremely hard.
Their relationship wasn't perfect either. They fought. A lot. But what couple doesn't? They were open enough to express their feelings with one another in an argumentative manner. They got mad, they worked things out, they made up.
Rumors about the famous Harry Styles spread like wildfires. Kelsey had quite the patience, but there were times the rumors would get so bad that Harry would find her in a devastating state. He had to reassure her quite often that she was the only one for him. Their relationship was a constant battle with the press, the fans, and even themselves. There was a period of time where Kelsey cracked, unable to take the pressure any longer. She had broken it off with Harry for several months before realizing that no longer being together only made her feel even worse.
There were times she knew it was going to be hard, but she never imagined it would be as hard as it was. There were some days it felt as if the whole weight of the universe was crushing down on her, and it took her a while to realize that Harry was the one that took that pressure away, even if them being together was the thing causing it.
Harry had brought her around though. He loved her too much to let her go so easily. He fought for her, which is what she really needed. And eventually, he proposed. She, of course, said yes.
The two were from different countries, which also aroused conflicts. Eventually, they settled on a house in the beautiful countryside in England. It worried Kelsey, not getting to see her family as often as she would have liked, but Harry made sure that Will, Abby and their goddaughter, Rose, visited quite often.
Kelsey was Harry's whole world. She gave him 3 beautiful daughters that he loved with all his might, Ana, Grace, and Ruby. During the day the corridors of their lovely home were always filled with the sound of laughter. And before every night Harry would brush Kelsey's curls away from her face and whisper "I love you to the moon and back very slowly." before planting a small kiss on her lips. They were married for many happy years.
They watched as their own hands and faces became wrinkled with age. They laughed together as gray hair started to show and cried together on each of their daughters wedding days. They became grandparents together. They stuck with each other through thick and thin, in sickness and in health, just as they had vowed to each other.
It wasn't a perfect life, but it was perfect to them.
But lives don't last forever.
Harry, now 86 years old, sitting in a wheel chair with an oxygen tank strapped to the back while attending his wife's funeral. He had never felt a pain so strong before. He had been through many things, but even the pain of becoming old couldn't compare in any way to the pain of losing someone he couldn't imagine living without.
"We are hear not to dwell on the death of my wife, Kelsey Styles. But to celebrate her life." Harry coughed. Breathing was getting harder these days, and a public speech probably wasn't the best idea for him, but he would battle through it for Kelsey. He would do anything for her even if she was no longer there.
His speech was written on a piece of paper almost as wrinkled as his hands. But he didn't need to paper to guide him to say what he needed to say. His eyes slowly moved over the crowd gathered around Kelsey's grave. Young and old, family and friends.
"I'm going to make this pretty short." Harry exhaled.
"When I first met Kelsey, I was walking up a flight of stairs. We ran into each other and I fell for her, almost literally." The crowd chuckled while Harry adjusted the oxygen tank tubes in his nostrils. His lungs ached and Harry sent a silent wish that they would hold it together long enough for him to complete his speech.
