Spelling Mistakes

Let's start with saying that we all make mistakes, but if you can't spell it...don't write it:/

Names-
If you don't remember a character's first or last name or how to spell it, look it up. Fan-fiction is not a guessing game, it's when you write about something that'll never happen in your fandom, but you're passionate about it. It's the worst thing when all of your comments are correcting the character's name and you continue to spell it wrong. I know you're reading these comments, just fix it! Cause the first or last name helps us know who you're talking about. For example;

'I was walking down the school hallway when I see my best friend, Collin Winkle'

I don't know a Collin Winkle...but I know a Colin Wilkes. See, understanding the name is important. Cause for all I know this Collin Winkle person can be an OC of yours.

Spelling simple words-
This one is self explanatory honestly...so many people spell simple words such as 'revealing' or 'romance' wrong. Like, how?! Take this as an example or two;

'I sat at the table, excited to open all of my presents for my birthday! The first present was placed in front of me. I smiled and ripped the wrapping paper off of it. It revieled a brand new katana!'

'We were all sitting in the couch, wondering what to do for the day. When suddenly Collin Winkles says "What if we watched a movie?!" We nodded at the idea in excitement. He walked over to the movie stand and asked "What genre?" . From the other side of the couch I heard Mari Grayson shout "Romanse!". Collin Winkles nodded and said "Romanse it is!". I gagged at the thought.'

As you can see, it's honestly confusing reading this in your fan-fiction. I mean, autocorrect is there for a reason if you REALLY need it.

Places-
If you are going to add a location, please know how to spell it. I can understand this one though, especially with the DC Comics fandom. Please just be aware of how to spell the place though.

All in all, this chapter is just to tell you a simple message. The message is "If you want to do something, research it! Even if it's the simplest thing ever, make sure you're correct!!"
