Starting with DC Comics, sorry but it's like my favorite fandom currently...

Batfam Stereotypes...

Dick Grayson-
The super sweet cinnamon roll that's also cool and relaxed. Commonly used in fan fictions as a lover that was found when joining a team, that or you're his little sibling when you're shipped with his 'brothers'. He's often called the 'golden child' cause of DC Comics's love for him. Oh, did I mention how everyone makes sure Y'know how amazing his butt is?

Jason Todd-
The super cool giant teddy bear. He'll do anything to protect the character he's shipped with. Though DC Comics mentions MANY times that he has morals, he never seems to have them in fan-fictions. Like one of his morals are about kids, yet JayTim is one of the biggest ships in the BatFam. If Jason is going to like both males and females, at least follow his morals...he's not going to be with a seventeen year old(not going to lie, I'm guilty as charged though).

Tim Drake-
Let's start with that fact that they NEVER have Tim Drake fan-fictions! The only times that he's actually in a fan-fiction, he's hacking into a system or he's ignoring his lover because of his work-load. Let's ask this question...what's he even working on?! All I have to say is that he's not just a geek who's sleep deprived and addicted to coffee. There's way more to Tim Drake, not to mention that even the Joker says that Tim is the second best detective in the world. Batman being the first best. Tim Drake is a shy, secretive,lovable,caring, and generous person. Many people interpret him as a rude, secretive, snobby, hacker who knows everything. You see the difference, right?

Damian Wayne-
The snobby, romantic, batbrat who gets whatever he wants. Well, of course, people don't know how to make him someone's love interest due to him acting like this. 'What do they do?' You may be asking...well...They decide to change EVERYTHING about Damian. I'm not going to lie, some people get his character right. That's not often though. I mean, people don't even know his eye color! If you were wondering, he has green eyes. Damian has things about him that people love, like his slight soft side when his grandfather died. Or how about how he makes sure that whoever hurts his 'beloved' gets hurt ten times more than they hurt them. Yeah, there's stuff to like about how he already acts, stop changing him. Poor guy probably doesn't even know who he is anymore!

Stephanie Brown-
She's often taken for a snobby, girly, moody, obsessive, girl who gets whatever she wants. If she's in fan-fiction, which is very rare, she will most likely be complaining or obsessing over something. Might I say, some people actually know what she acts like, but it's very few. Then again, only few people use her. Might I say, she's smart, loving, caring, funny, and many other great things. She's not a spoiled brat, okay.

Cassandra Cain-
Is she even in fan-fiction? She's basically a nicer, more well adjusted, calmer, older, female Damian Wayne. Might I add that she can calm down the rest of the BatFam when they're all fighting... Seriously though, I don't see her in fan-fiction...like ever. She's really cool, let's just say that!

Barbara Gordan-
She's basically only in fan-fiction if her love interest is one of the people listed above.  She's kind of girly, but not really...and she's pretty dang cool. She's Batgirl, if you didn't know. Hmm, people make her really annoying in fan-fictions, but she isn't that bad. Once again...stop changing the character!

Bruce Wayne-
The one and only Batman! 'The too serious and will take in any child that I find on the streets' guy! Seriously, that's what people consider him like. The billionaire with multiple children living in his manor, everybody loves him! Just kidding! In most fan-fictions people make Jason Todd and Damian Wayne hate him. Can I ask, why? Seriously, Jason Todd respects everything Bruce has done for him, even if Bruce managed to kill him. 'What's about Damian?' You may be asking. Well, though Damian hates to admit it. He loves Bruce. He's said it in multiple movies! Poor Bruce:(

Alfred Pennyworth-
Though Alfred isn't actually related to any of them, nor was he taken in by Bruce. He's most certainly part of the family! His age? Well, most call him an immortal being due to him looking the exact same when Bruce was just a child. Alfred also stops many fights and cooks for them, he also gives the family moral support:) Alfred's a cinnamon roll
