9) Promise Ring

Edd:
The day started out normal. You were just in the kitchen, leaning against the counter and talking with Tom, when Edd suddenly walked in and politely asked Tom to leave. After a short moment, he did, and you were about to complain. Was Edd jealous? He had no reason to be. As your thoughts were running wild, Edd gently took your hand and smiled at you. You furrowed your brows at his strange behavior, but your confusion soon became realization as he held up a ring. Before you could cut to any conclusions, he explained that it was a promise ring. You weren't disappointed in the slightest. You weren't really ready to get married anyway! You gazed at the ring as he put it on your finger, and swore up and down that he would never hurt you. After his speech, you pulled him into a hug. It was the sweetest thing in the world

Tom:
You needed to make this moment perfect. Tom deserved it. He was a somewhat broken man, who needed a little reassurance. What better way to reassure him than to get him a promise ring. A little gem to add to your collection. You held the ring tight in your hand and, when you deemed yourself ready, you made your way over to him, placed a kiss on his cheek, handed him the ring, and explained what it was for. You promised to never leave him, calming his negative feelings down by a trillion, and bringing him in for a hug. He nuzzled his face into your hair as he put the ring on, and promised you the same thing.

Matt:
It was Matt's birthday, and everyone was gathering around to watch him open presents. Edd got him a mirror, Tom got him a card, and Tord got him a stuffed giraffe. When it came to be your turn, you stood up and walked over to Matt. He had this look in his eye that reminded you of an excited puppy. It made your heart melt, and you just couldn't wait to see his reaction. With a hesitant breath, you took the box from your back pocket. Hearing the gasps around the room, you immediately realized what this looked like. With a quick shake of the head, and an explanation, you put the ring on Matt's finger and pulled him into a hug. Tearfully, he hugged you back. It surely was a day that he's never forget.
