"Ugh!" I groaned as I messed up my hair. "Why can't I get her out of my head?!" I asked myself out loud as I walked towards the mansion.

"There's a familiar question..." Plagg muttered. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"What do you mean...?" I asked suspiciously.

"Uh...nothing he-he! Nothing important..." he trailed off as he avoided my gaze. I was about to pry, when suddenly, a loud scream echoed through the street. I hid behind a car just as a monster punched his way through a building.

"What the hell!?" I ducked just as a piece of rubble flew over my head and into the building behind me.

"That's our siren kid" Plagg said as he hovered out of my satchel.

"O-okay..." I nodded unsurely.

"Just say claws out." I glanced around at the chaos that was taking place around me.

"Uh...Claws out?" I closed my eyes as Plagg flew into my ring. A warm green light engulfed my body as my suit materialized. When I was done transforming, I glanced down at my gloved hands. "Woah..." a sense of freedom overtook me when I realized that no one knew who I was. I had the freedom to say and act however I wanted. "This is gonna be fun!" I grinned to myself as I gripped my baton. "How do you...?" I trailed off as I struggled to open it. When I found the button, I pressed it carelessly. "Ow!" I hissed as the baton opened and clipped me in the face.

"Cat Noir...?" A soft voice made my ear twitch. I looked up to see a girl in a red polka dotted suit standing on the roof above me. The same girl that had been in my room the night before.

"Uhh...hi...?" I waved awkwardly just as the monster picked up a boulder and tossed it in my direction. "Woah!!" I shouted as the suited girl wrapped her yo-yo around my leg and pulled me out of the way just in time.

"What are you doing here?!" She hissed when I landed by her feet. Her raven hair was tied in two pigtails and her pink lips were twisted into a disapproving scowl. She had her hands on her hips.

"I'm learning the ropes again Ms..." I trailed off when I realized I forgot her name again.

"Ladybug..." she replied hesitantly. "Are you sure you're okay to fight? You know, because of your condition?" I stood up and dusted myself off.

"I'm good, my kwami explained everything to me. Besides, I also study martial arts and fencing" she looked at me wearily.

"I know you do but that might not be enough..." I arched an eyebrow suspiciously.

"You know? How do you know?" I asked. She lifted up her hands defensively.

"Y-yea, you told me awhile back! That's how I know what you do. I'm not a stalker or anything he-he..." she rubbed the nape of her neck anxiously. I was about to say something when she tackled me down. "Look out!" She screamed just as the monster extended his gloves and punched a hole through the roof where we had been standing.

My face turned deep crimson when I gazed up at her. She had landed on top of me. She must not have realized that she was straddling me because she was looking towards the monster. Her face turned dark red when she glanced down and noticed the position we were in. She jumped off and to the side with incredible speed. "I-I'm s-sorry! It was an instinct I didn't mean to..." she trailed off embarrassed. I sat up with a chuckle.

"Don't sweat it. I know you were just trying to help. Thanks for the save by the way" I said with a smile as I stood up and offered her my hand. She took it timidly. Our eyes met when she stood up. A sweet scent surrounded me when she stood so close. "You smell like cookies..." My heart raced in my chest as I studied her. "Aghh!" I doubled over when a wave of pain struck me again. I clutched my head as the world spun around me. Bits and pieces of memories, sped through my mind.

"Cat what's wrong!?" Ladybug shouted as she gripped my shoulders. Concern framed her delicate features.

"I'm fine, no need to worry Bugaboo..." I said as I straightened myself out.

"You remembered the nickname you gave me..." she trailed off. My eyes opened wide when I realized she was right. "Did you remember anything else?" She asked cautiously. I shook my head. A sad sigh broke through her lips just as another scream shook the city. "Nevermind that, we've got work to do!" She said with a determined smile as she spun her yo-yo in her hand. My heart fluttered in my chest as a feeling of familiarity overtook me. This girl was definately someone I had trusted with my life. I nodded with a smile.

"Let's do this!" I shouted as I extended my baton and vaulted off the roof towards the monster.
