This chapter may be short. Its about what happened in Skylers past. This is her story
Skyler was 4 years old. She was sitting in her room until she heard screaming.
Dad: SHES JUST A HUMAN
Mom: SHE HAS POWERS
Dad: Ugh YOU WOMEN NEVER LISTEN *punches*
Skyler: Daddy....why are you hurting mommy
Dad: Because she didn't listen. Go to your room
Skyler: But I wanna help mommy
Dad: I SAID GO TO YOUR ROOM *hits*
Mom: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! HITTING OUR DAUGHTER
Skyler: *runs to her room and crys*
Dad: *sigh* Im sorry, its the alcohol its getting to me *hugs* I love you. You know that right
Mom: You need to apologize to your daughter
Dad: Hey Skyler...
Skyler: *wipes tears*
Dad: Look daddy is sorry for hitting you. Can you forgive me?
Skyler: *nods*
Dad: *hugs her* Your my baby girl
Skyler: *smiles*
They were all in the car, they were coming back a restaurant. Skyler made a drawing of her family.
Skyler: Daddy look
Dad: Im driving sweetie
Skyler: But look daddy
Dad: Hold on
Skyler: Daddy look at my drawing
Dad: ugh *looks back* that's pretty sweetie
Mom: LOOK OUT
Then they crashed with another car. Skyler was bleeding from her head. She looked at her dad and then at her mom.
Dad: Are you ok Skyler?
Skyler: Yeah daddy
Dad: Honey?
Skyler: Why isnt mom talking?
Dad: *checks her pulse* .....
The police and the ambulance arrived.
They took Skylers mom away
Skyler: Where are they taking mom
Dad:....
The police took them home
Skyler: Daddy why arent you talking
Dad:....Your mommy is dead
Skyler:...what....
Dad: and....ITS ALL YOUR FAULT
Skyler: *cries*
Dad: YOUR MOM IS DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU
Skyler: im sorry....*cries*
Dad: *hits her* I need a drink. Stay here and clean the house. Im going out
Skyler:..
Skyler: Its my fault mommys dead *cries* Im sorry mommy. I just wanted to show daddy this picture of our family....I didnt want this to happen
Dad: *drinks beer* GET BACK TO CLEANING MURDERER *punches*
It was night time. Skyler was packing her things. She was going to run away and live with her aunt. She snuck out the window and walked to her aunts house
5 years passed. Skyler was best friends with Jacob. They were walking in the streets
Skyler: *sigh*
Jacob: Whats wrong
Skyler: I just....cant stop thinking about my father. As much as I want to just leave him in the past I....cant let him go
Jacob: Well I-*gets a message* Ugh im sorry Skyler I have to go. My dad is asking for me
Skyler: Ok see ya tomorrow
Jacob: Bye
She kept walking and then saw a man sitting down outside with a whole bunch of beer bottles. The man looked at her, and then ran at her and hugged her. It was her dad
Dad: Where have you been
Skyler:...
Dad: Don't just leave like that I love you
Skyler: (hes lying)
Dad: C'mon lets go home
They went home but Skyler just stood there in the entrance
Dad: Whats wrong
Dad: *cries* Im sorry Skyler. I know im a bad father....I blamed you for the death of your mother
Skyler: *walks towards the street*
Dad: Skyler, please come back...I can be a better father
Skyler started crying. She didn't notice a car was coming. Her dad ran and pushed her out the way. He got hit by a car
Skyler: n-no....
???: OMG IM SO SORRY *calls 911*
Skyler: Dad...
He got taken to the hospital. He was severely injured. Jacob and his dad went to visit
Skyler: *hugs Jacob*
Jacob: Its ok
Skylers dad: B-Balto...
Balto: Yeah bud
Skylers dad: I-I want you to be...Skylers guardian. I trust you with the..protection of my daughter
Balto: *nods*
Skylers dad: and Skyler
Skyler: Yeah das
Skylers dad: Im sorry for not being a good father...that I couldnt..be the real father that you needed. But, I guess im going to see your mom...heh im probably gonna get scold for what I did..
Skyler: Dont say that...
Skylers dad: I love you....I truly mean it..*slowly closes eyes*
Skyler: Dad...please dont do this to me...*cries*
Jacob: Hes in a better place now
Skyler: *hugs*
Balto: C'mon Skyler, the nurses are going to take care of the body. You can stay at out house. When your older ill get you an apartment. Sound good
Skyler: *wipes tears* Yeah...
