Chapter 1

It was finally after school. They all met up at the entrance. Brandon was the last one to get there. Ash, Brandon, Skyler, and Jacob all started talking, until Jacob turned around and saw the girl from his class. She was walking with her head down.

Jacob: Hey guys, ill be right back. Y'all can go towards the cafe. Ill catch up.
Ash: Alright

Jacob then walked towards the girl. They all were trying to find out what he was doing. So they followed him and hid.

Brandon: *whispers* Hey thats the girl from our music class. He wanted to talk to her.

Jacob: *ahem* Hello there
???: *looks up* um...are you talking to me?
Jacob: Well yeah. Who else?
???: Sorry, its just that, a guy has never talked to me before
Jacob: Well im glad im the first. Anyways, I came to ask if you're ok. I saw that you were depressed during music class.
???: Oh, yeah im fine. You know, just scared of a new school.
Jacob: Yeah i get you. My name is Jacob by the way. What's yours?
???: Im Allison. Pleased to meet you.
Jacob: *reaches hand out* same here
Allison: *shakes hand and blushes* ( His hands are warm and soft. What are you saying Alli, you cant fall in love. After what happened with your ex no way. Plus, he probably doesn't even like you)
Jacob: Uhh, hello
Allison: ( What if he just wants to be friends. Why am I thinking about this too much. Am I blushing. OMG IM BLUSHING THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING)
Jacob: You alright there?
Allison: Huh, oh uh yeah. Just zoned out for a bit.
Jacob: So, you wanna head to the cafe with me and some other people
Allison: I would love too, but maybe next time. I have a busy schedule today.
Jacob: Ok, just tell me when. Ill see if im free. Can I have your number?
Allison: *blushes* Uhh s-sure ( This isn't the first time a guy has asked me for my number. Why am I so nervous) *gives him her number* There you go
Jacob: Thanks. *puts hand behind neck* So, ill see you tomorrow?
Allison: Yeah. Umm bye
Jacob: Bye, have a good afternoon

Allison then started walking off to the distance. Jacob was proud of himself, it was his first time making a friend in highschool. He then started walking towards the cafe, while the others quickly sneaked in and sat down at a table. Jacob then went inside the cafe and sat down with them.

Jacob: Hey guys. Sorry I took so long.
Skyler: Its no problem. So, what did you do?
Jacob: ( If i tell them, they'll keep saying I have a crush) I saw a shiny object from a far. Turns out it was the wheels of this guys skateboard. It looked really cool, he let me use it and it was fun.

All of their jaws opened

Jacob: What?
Ash: Nothing, its just that uhh....*whispers* back me up
Brandon: Its just really cool that you rode a skateboard.
Jacob: So, did you guys order already?
Skyler: No, we were waiting for you.
Jacob: Alright, well lets order.

After they finished at the cafe, they all went back home. Jacob then went to the basement. It had all sorts of training equipment. Then, he automatically started training.

???: Jacob, now that you're 4, i want you every night training here alright. Its the only way to help you
Jacob: I hate you
???: .....Its for your own good. Dont disappoint me. You're the golden child since your are the only one who has my power.
Jacob: I dont want this
???: Trust me Jacob, by the time you know how to use it, you will love it

Tomorrow was gonna be the first time Jacob was going to train with people. But, he tried to forget about it. Ash then came to the basement

Ash: Are you still traning? Its midnight
Jacob: I dont want to disappoint him. Who knows what he'll do next.
Ash: Jacob, its a school night come on
Jacob: Ugh fine
Ash: Thank you. Goodnight
Jacob: Night

He then got changed and went to bed. He dreamed that he was in front of a door and heard screams of pain.

Jacob: What's wrong with Zack?
???: Its what he gets
Jacob: *knocks on door* Zack, are you ok?
Zack: J-Jacob, come i-in please
Jacob: *opens door* Zack what's wrong?
Zack: I l-love you l-little bro. *Gah* Be s-s-strong. Just like m-mom said ok?
Jacob: What's gonna happen to you? Are you gonna leave me like mom?
Zack: I w-wish not. Just, d-dont trust dad o-ok. He's n-n-not what he seems to be.
Jacob: *nods*
???: Jacob, come here
Jacob: What?
???: Dont be stupid like your brother. This is what happens when you reject what you are

The screaming then stopped. Jacob turned around and saw the life less body of his brother on the bed

Jacob: How can you say that...Dad....or should I just call you Balto?
Dad: Im your father, dont speak to me that way
Jacob: HOW CAN YOU JUST WATCH YOUR OWN SON SUFFER.
Dad: Its his fault. He didnt do what he was suppose to.
Jacob: I WILL DESPISE YOU UNTIL THE DAY I DIE.
Dad: Im the only one that can help you with what you're going through. Brandon and Ash dont know anything about the strength you withhold. Ash know what you have. Brandon doesn't since hes human. Its better off that way. You are 10 Jacob. Act mature.
Jacob: This is unfair
Dad: Well that's just how life is
