so i've told madi a bit about this but i found this sleeping beauty tododeku parody on [unnamed fanfiction site] by [unnamed user] and frankly i thought it was below average but not overall awful like every excuse for "writing" i publish on wattpad etc.,,
now don't get me wrong i am in n o way some esteemed author who's better than everyone bc i'm a sht writer, but i know when a concept is... not as good as one would expect when put into practice.
so in honor of the not-exactly-great-but-not-terrible tododeku au fic i've decided to completely ruin it and rewrite it based completely on the author's concept
i've only rewritten the first chapter and i will only rewrite the first chapter
everything in this is taken directly from the first chapter with varying changes and like two scenes changed altogether
so before you ask "but why is this a thing this shouldn't be possible wtf" just know that i have no idea but i went along with it so (ノ*゚ー゚)ノ
anyway yes here is the thing ✌~(-∆-~)
Aizawa trudged into the main hall with the students, already partially consumed in his sleeping bag, yawning. “Make sure you all look over the map that was given to you. If you get lost, you’ll need to use it to find your way back to the group.” He informed tiredly, slowly making his way to a corner of the room, “That being said, the castle tour guide will supervise for the entirety of your visit, so just listen to her and try not to stray away from the group, got it?”The class erupted in a chorus of “Yes, Mr.Aizawa.”
“Good.” He laid himself down in the corner, pulling his sleeping bag around his entire body and burrowing inside of it. “Don’t wake me up unless somebody’s dying.”
Then, as if on cue, the clacking of pumps came from the hallway and a pretty, well dressed brunette greeted them with a smile. “Hello, I’m your castle tour guide. If you’d be so kind as to follow me this way?” She walked back down the hallway, and all 19 students followed, some with all the feigned interest of Bakugou watching a Disney Princess movie at three in the morning, and others with all the joy of Midoriya receiving a life-sized All Might plush toy for his birthday.
When it was announced by Aizawa that All Might put together a field trip for a much needed break for them all, to a renovated castle turned into a historical landmark/museum, Midoriya couldn't wait. He was more than ecstatic to be here. As he giddily followed behind the group, halfway down the hall, a certain painting caught his eye.
He stopped in front of it. It was a painting of a boy with short, evenly split bi-colored hair, snow white and dark red, along with a pair of odd, yet luring gray and turquoise eyes. He looked rather mute, aside from a small, sad-looking smile on his face. He looked beautiful. Midoriya couldn’t help but wonder who this boy was.
A ways below the painting was a golden doorknob that Midoriya had yet to notice until now. He knew he probably shouldn't have been going in random doors and leaving the class, but something was already pulling him towards the door. He grabbed the doorknob, only to find that it was locked. He should've stopped there, but his body involuntary sent his quirk coursing through his hand, just enough for his hand to jerk, twisting the doorknob and breaking it. There was no turning back now.
He entered the room, quietly. The first thing he noticed was the warm light from a large window casting onto the only item in the room, a bed. Stepping closer to the bed, he saw him. The boy from the painting, peacefully sleeping with his hands folded together on his stomach, the blanket meant to be covering him up discarded on the floor.
He looked even prettier in sleep. His hair looked messy, strewn all over his white pillow, and he seemed to glow in the light casting down on him. His breath was slow and soft, and with every rise and fall of his stomach his hands seemed to twitch the tiniest bit. Midoriya noticed that, unlike in the painting, he had a harsh burn mark over his left eye. Despite it, he still looked as beautiful as he did in the painting.
