Chapter 11

Evening at 6, at Khanna House :

Neil knocks at the door of Arnav's room.

Arnav : Who's there ?

Neil : Bhai.. It's me. Neil.

Arnav : Get in. Door is not locked.

Neil enters Arnav's room and they sits on sofa nearby poolside.

Neil : Bhai. You had told that you want to discuss some official work.

Arnav : Yup. Actually we are starting a new interior company in the name of bebe. We will be announcing it on her bday as a bday gift for her.

Neil : Wow. Bhai. It's awesome.

Arnav : I want you to look after the marketing part of the company as well as you need to supervise the event management team about how to organize the party and how to execute surprise. You are best at it.

Neil : Hm ok bhai. As you say.

Arnav : You had coffee ?

Neil : Nope. Coming straight to you.

Arnav : Silly boy. Go and have it.

Neil : Why dont you join too ?

Arnav : Alright. Let's move.

At the dining area :

Swetha : Ah ha. Finally. Both my sons got time to drink coffee ah.

Arnav : Mom. For me green tea.

Swetha : I know Arnu. It's only by flow that I spurt out the word coffee.

Arnav : Ok.

Swetha : You both have it and do eat pakoras & sandwiches too.

Neil : Sure Mom.

Swetha : Let me check bheema by then. She might be getting confused as usual in kitchen, about what to make for dinner.

By saying that Swetha went to kitchen.

Neil while taking a bite of pakora (with an anxious look) : Bhai, How come you were behaving so softly to Avni ? You usually doesn't even talk much to gals and even if you does, you always speaks to them with full arrogance.

Arnav (by sipping his green tea) : So what ? I do speak normally to you all right ?

Neil : Exactly bhai. You speaks softly only to us. With your family members. But avni..

Arnav (by interrupting) : She is not like other gals. She is an intelligent, well mannered, nice and smart gal. She misunderstood me bcoz of her foolish sis but see, when I explained her she understood everything easily and told me sorry too on her sister's behalf.

Neil : That's right. But even then.

Arnav : No more questions. Dont you think, you are thinking too much unwanted things. Go and prepare for bebe's surprise. Hardly 2 weeks there for her bday.

Neil : Oh yeah. I will do that. You don't worry.

Arnav (to himself) : Thank God. Got succeeded in diverting Neil's mind. But I need to be careful while talking about Doll to neil.

At Mehta Mansion :

Avni narrated the whole things happened at Khanna industries to Khushi and Rhea.

Rhea : What di ? You are so impulsive.  Can't blame Neil's bhai for that. Even if I were in his position, I would have done the same.

Avni : Rhea is right. Khush, at least you should have asked him softly rather than getting in to a dispute.
