Chapter 9

At Khanna Industries :

Neil halted the car and ask the ladies to get down.

Avni's POV :

We entered Khanna industries. It's a big, well organized company with good interiors too.

We stopped at the reception.

Neil (to the receptionist) : Is bhai in some meeting ?

Receptionist : No Sir. He is in the room. He had asked not to send anyone in Cabin now since he is a bit stressed after meeting.

Neil : it's ok. We are going there.

Receptionist : Ok Sir. As you wish.

She anyway doesn't have any other option. Neil is after all the brother of her Boss.

Neil (looking at us) : Bhai is upstairs in his cabin. Let's go there. Before that, I will tell you both to be prepared to face his anger. Because in a stressed mode, he doesn't really like people meeting him.

Rhea : Then why the hell are you taking us there ? We are not coming. We will meet him some other day.

Neil : Oh I thought your cousin is so eager to confront him no matter what.

Me (without any hesitation) : We will go. I want to meet him.

Rhea : No babes. Did you forget the scars of Di ? He can be dangerous. I am not coming. You too dont go.

Me : You stay here then. I will go. Come Neil.

Neil took me upstairs, while coward Rhea stayed back at the reception.

End of Avni's POV.

A big cabin with a Name plate written "Arnav Khanna - CEO" have seen.

Neil knocked the room and entered without taking permission. A husky voice came from inside.

"Who the hell is that ?"

It was that of arrogant and handsome Arnav Khanna.

Neil : Bhai, it's me.(by getting inside).

Arnav : Neil, you here ?

Neil : Yup bhai. Actually someone need to meet you.

Arnav : Who ?

Neil grabbed Avni's hand and took her inside the cabin. She is confidently looking at Arnav Khanna.

Arnav : Who is this ? Why she wants to meet me ?

Avni (without letting Neil to answer him) : You can ask me directly since I am here. He is not my caretaker that he is answerable for the things related to me.

Avni could see Arnav gritting his teeth due to anger. She was expecting him to tell something but Neil replied to her instead.

Neil : Hey gal, I have taken you here. It doesn't mean that I will protect you always hah. How can you speak like that to my bro, that too from his office ? N yeah I am his bro and he can ask me anything anytime. He dont need your permission for that ok.

Avni was about to give a reply but Arnav spoke up.

Arnav (still gritting his teeth) : Neil, let her tell what she want. You go to your cabin. I will call you.

Yes. Neil too has a cabin at Khanna Industries. He comes there during vacation to serve as a Marketing Head. As he is too good at it, Arnav had suggested him to do so. He is soon to join as CIO after college.

Neil : But bhai.

Arnav : Neil.... I told you to go.

Without saying a word, Neil vanished from the cabin. But he was a little hesitant to leave.
