The Monkey Paw

The final wish ( The end?)

I looked at the monkey paw while thinking that if the last wish should be left alone or not. I covered it and went to school,so far my life was good.

I got distinction for my piano grade 7

I got 1st in my class

I became a model for fashion show

I was the richest girl in the whole world

So,maybe I would leave the last wish alone. As I was walking home,I did not notice the car coming. Luckily,I managed to avoid the accident. Looks like I must use the final wish for 'that'...

I went hime and opened the box. I wished that my lived peacefully and eternity. The wish was granted. I smiled and lied onto my bed.

Like this,I would not die so easily. The next day,when I went to school,I overheard a few ladies talking about the Kurokami residence. It seemed that all of them had been killed by a robbery last night. I was shocked when I heard them said that.

I quickly ran home and screamed for my mother but the house was quiet...

Too quiet....

I got a very bad feeling when I walked past the kitchen. I opened the kitchen door and I saw my mother's cold body lying on the floor with a knife stabbed at the back. I was too shocked that I fainted.

When I woke up,I found myself in a hospital and a lady beside me. She said that she was from an orphanage home and she had to take me there. Ever since that incident, I suffered very badly from mental. Now,I lived peacefully and would not die but I was suffered badly by seeing my loved ones died in front of me. I guessed this was my price to pay for granting those wish.

There was no free lunch in this world.

I could become clever if I studied hard...

I could become rich if I worked hard...

I could become a model if I took care of my body...

I could become the best pianist if I practiced hard...

---I could live peacefully if I was carefull....
