Fourth wish

"Wrong note! Play again!"

I played it again. Finally,it's correct. I hate playing piano. I thought as I walked home while carrying my bag. I wondered if I could hide my results paper from my mother. I managed to pass but still...

She would not be statisfied.

I went into my room and placed my bag aside. I took out my piano pieces and started playing. I closed my eyes and started to play gracefully. After I finished played finished it,I stopped for a moment.

Why I couldn't play this good in front of my teacher?

I took out other piano pieces and started to play it. Its the same...

Where did I went wrong? I glanced at the closet where I kept my monkey paw. I shooked my head while telling myself not to rely too much on the monkey paw.

"Yes? Ok..Asaka!! Kurokami is looking for you!!"

Kurokami? Why was he here? I told my mother to bring him up. I quickly kept all my piano pieces into my bag.

As I finished keeping all my book into my bag,Kurokami came in. He looked around while greeting me. I nodded and his eyes caught at my piano.

"You play the piano?",said while walking towards it.

I nodded and he touched it. He asked me if he could play it for a while. I nodded and let him play. He sat down and started playing. His playing was very nice and I could imagined myself in a concert with all the audience clapping their hands. As he finished playing,he stopped.

"Ah,I forgot that I was in your room..."

I was speechless and he said that he had to go. I stopped him and asked him to teach me how to play the piano as good as him. He smiled and said that he would teach me for 8 days and I would be as good as him. At first,I would not believe him.

The next day,Kurokami came again. This time,he brought a bag full of piano pieces from grade 1 to grade 8. I'm now learning grade 7 and yet he brought  grade 8 piano pieces .

"Everyday,I would come and bring these pieces and I would sit by your side and teached you for 2 hours. One day,you would learn one grade starting from the beginning.",said while sitting on a stool beside my piano. I walked towards the piano and he placed a piano sheet in front of me.

"Now, try playing it."

I nodded and started to play. I played a bit too much mistakes but surprisingly he said to keep practice. I kept on play the same pieces till I was familiar with it. When I was familiar with it,he went on to the next pieces till the whole grade 1 piano book was finished. I felt tired yet happy. He put his book into his bag and placed my exam piano pieces onto the piano.

"Now, I want you to try playing it. I can gurantee you that you would feel that it was easy to play."

I started to play the piano pieces. As how he said,I managed to catch the notes but my tempo was still weak. He said that improved but the tempo still need some working. He soon got up and walked out. He told me that he would come tommorow until the 8th day.

I nodded and sent him off. On the 8th day,he let me played a very difficult pieces. I told him that I would be sitting for grade 7. He insisted me to play it. I obeyed his words and started to play. I was surprised that I managed to play so easily. All my notes were accurate and my tempo was correct too. As I played finish the last note,he clapped his hand while praising me.

"You did well. Take these piano pieces and practice everyday.",said while handing the piano pieces to me

I took it and thanked him. On the day of my piano classes,I started to play with grace. My teacher was speechless and praised me.

"I think you can take your exam on August this year."

I was shocked and told her that it was a bit too early but she insisted. I could not fight and I just gave in. I went home and started to play the pieces that was given by Kurokami.

At that time,my mother came in and asked me that since when I became so good. I told her that Kurokami taught me. She was shocked and told me to never meet that guy anymore. I was shocked and asked why but she would not tell me the reason. I cried the whole day and looked at the clost that kept the monkey paw. I took it out and wishes that I could be a great pianist in the whole world. My wish was granted the next day. Unfortunately, I heard that Kurokami was involved in an accident and all his fingers were broken. I was shocked when I heard that news. I locked myself in my room and started crying asking myself if it was my fault.

Suddenly,I heard someone coming up. It was Kurokami. I was too ashame to face him but he just smiled and said that although he could not play but he would like to hear me play. I was touched by his words and started to cry loudly. He comforted me and told me to play Canon in D for him. I nodded and went to the piano and started to play it for him.

I guess that although I was sad that he lost his fingers but if he could listened to me played the piano,I was already very happy....
