She sighed and looked over at me
"Don't you just wish that it wasn't so easy to develop feelings for someone? That you could flirt or hook up and just be done with it?"
I paused before answering.
"No I don't actually."
Why not? It'd be so much more convenient."
"Because It's a waste of life to not want to care," I replied looking at her. "And id rather be lonely than be with someone who doesn't give a damn about me."
