Chapter 5- Seven Minutes in Heaven

Chapter 5- Seven Minutes in Heaven, Part 1. Donnie's POV.

I worked on updating Metalhead's software. After a while, I came out of my lab. I tripped over a step while I was coming out. Perris helped me up. For some reason, my heart skipped a beat when she touched me, the feeling was warm and made me happy inside. "Careful, Donnie." she said in what seemed a silvery voice. She still had that gauze that Leo wrapped on her. My cheeks felt warm. I went to my room and flopped onto my bed. I had the exact same feeling when April touched me. I went out of my room and back to the lab. On my way, I bumped into April. April got up and helped me up. Instead, the feeling of April touching me felt cold and emotionless. Weird. I resumed on my way to the lab. I saw Perris, and not looking on the ground, I tripped over an empty pizza box. Perris turned around and I fell on her. It looked like I pinned her to the ground. I felt a blush creeping, so I quickly got off and dusted my self off. I hefted up Perris, and I couldn't help but blush. I ran the rest of the way to the lab. I resumed to updating Metalhead. It was done in a couple of minutes, and I re-activated Metalhead. I heard a knock on the door. "D-Donnie?" I heard a familiar silvery voice say. I assumed it was Perris. "Come in," I said, "Door's unlocked." Perris came in. "The guys said we were gonna play Seven Minutes in Heaven, so I came to get you. C'mon, Don." She grabbed my hand. I couldn't hold back a blush. We went to Leo's room. Everyone greeted us. There was a hat full of strips of paper with our names on them. We all sat in a circle, and Mikey picked the first two names. On the strips of paper Mikey read, "Perris and Donnie." I tensed, then Raph shoved me and Perris into Leo's closet. Crap. Raph closed the doors. "Out of all the people, why'd it have to be Perris?!" I said thinking out loud. Perris looked hurt at my comment. "N-no, I-I didn't mean it that way," "Yeah, you're right, you'd rather be with April than a girl whose life's years was spent reading, studying, training in ninjutsu, and watching her sisters. Than a girl whose spent thought and time thinking of how I'd make the first move on you," Perris scolded me. She opened the doors and busted out. "DAMNIT!!" I cursed out loud. I ran after her. "PERRIS! PERRIS!" She went topside, I followed, and was noticed. Perris used ninja stealth and escaped me. Her steps were too quick and quiet. "Damnit..." I sat down in an alley and it was raining. The guys are probably looking for me and Perris right now. I looked at my T-Phone. It was 6:02. Weird. We started at 6:00, and I'm assuming this all happened in the space of two minutes. I just hate myself right now. I got back up and started looking for Perris again. "PERRIS!! PERRIS!!" I can't BELIEVE I blew my chances with Perris!! Perris thought and planned her first move on me...Eventually, I just gave up and sat down, hugging my knees. I cried. The rain poured harder. I mumbled her name alot. I fell asleep and dreamt of Perris. Would I ever find her?
