One punch for how much I hate the prince.
Another one for the stupid mission I was assigned to.
A kick for the Headmaster asking publicly to meet her in her office, and stares I received after.
punch for the death of my parents.
I lost track of time punching and kicking the bag trying to calm my self down but the more I tried the more I got angry. I knew it was dinner time and know had told me but I'm thankful for that. Jalie knows when I'm mad to leave me alone. I stop punching and start to yell in frustration. After a while of yelling I sink to my knees and start to cry.
"You know if you want to calm yourself try meditation, yelling and punching does not always work" a voice with a little humour says behind me.
I turn around to see the owner of the voice. Resar the weapons master. I look try to look in her eyes but I can't help stare at the scare that starts a the left corner of her lips all the way to her forehead passing threw her left eye. She is in her late forties with waist length hair that is always in a voluminous Dutch braid. I don't see her often because she is new and teaches the younger girls how to use weapons as well dessins weapons.
"I'll keep that in mind" I mumble as I walk past her with my head down. Yes I'm afraid of her,and so is everyone, she's terrifying.
She laughs seeing that I'm afraid of her. "I have something to show you, and I don't bite unless you make me made."
I nod and walk behind her.

When we get to her office which is very big with beautiful hand crafted weapons and armour displayed every where. Her office looks just like the Headmaster's with a big wooden desk in the middle and two chairs facing the desk. She signals me to sit as she makes her way around her desk. I sit now facing her.
"So," she starts "I saw you and your friend under the headmaster's office window."
I go white, oh no she saw us what is she going to do.
She sit there looking at me smiling and after a while of me panicking she finally says, "I'm not going to tell the headmaster, nor will I punish you."
I let out a breath I was holding, that cruel woman built up so much suspense told you she was scary.
She keeps talking, "from your reaction I assume you heard your upcoming task and are not so pleased with it. Well yo7 don't have a choice no matter what you think of the royal family not all of them are bad." I notice that her voice softened and the last part. "Also you are mainly here so I can give you these."
I look at her confused as Resar pulls out a box made out of a stunning rare black wood. She slowly places the wooden box in front of me on the table, and nods at me telling me to open it. I open I slowly revealing two black thinned blades with beautifully carved handles. I look up at Resar in shock.
"Thank you" I say
She nods and says "Please when the Headmaster tells you the news act surprised and honoured."
I walk out the door and I hear say "don't forget to try meditation also good luck."
I walk back to my dorm with a smile on my face, I can do this it's not going to be that bad. I repeat to myself as I put the wooden box containing the swords under my bed and as I get ready for bed. I lay down ready to go to sleep not caring if I haven't had dinner. After a few minutes I fall asleep.
*********
I wake up to the morning bells, feeling well rested, ready to start another day of training and learning. I sit up in my bed and stretch while Jalie and the two girls whom we share the dorm with do the same thing. I feel like it's going to be a great day. Sliding off my bed onto the floor, to really wake myself up. I go to pull out my box of clothing from under me bed when I see the wooden black box containing the swords and from that I remember that today was not going to be a good day. A frown appears on my face, anger rushes through my body.
"Are you okay, you went from a super happy morning person to a sad contemplating life kinda person."  Jalie asks but I say nothing.
I open the black box and stare at the blades wondering when I will leave.
Jalie walks up behind me and leans over me shoulder, "WOW those are pretty."
It takes my a moment to realize that she's talking about the swords. I nod. She turns away and I get ready. I would pack my stuff but I don't have any bags.
******
I stand in front of the Headmasters office, nervous. Jalie stands beside me silently and leaning against my leg is the black box with the twin blades. I stare at the uneven ugly brown clay wall -the same we have in the whole school- that's beside the thin door. I can hear the Headmaster shuffling through paper on the other side not knowing that I'm here waiting, too nervous to answer. I'm still angry but more nervous since the talk with Resar. My fingers nervously play with the bottom of me plain grey shirt.
"Do you want my to knock?" Jalie ask under breath so know one will hear.
I give her a small nod, my gaze still fixed on my feet, and she lightly knock on the office door. I square my shoulders and lift my head to see out of the corner of my vision Jalie speed walking away, just as she gets to the end of the hall she turns around. I give her a death stare and she gives me a encouraging smile before turning the corner. I feel slightly angry at her for leaving me but truly I am thank that she knock and left. I did not want the Headmaster to see my as a coward.
A lock clicks, I hold my head high as the door opens. The Headmaster stands in front of me, her usual amor looking as polished as ever, a short sword at hr waist. Her long black hair that turning grey is put in a simple braid. The green eyes of hers land on me.
"Come in." Is all she says before turning around.
Right on her tail I enter her office. I sit in one of the chairs in front of the massive oak desk that's overflowing with papers in neat piles and weapons on stands.
The moment the Headmaster sits the huge office chair she starts talking. "I have a special mission for you, it's slightly last minute. It's for the royal family."
The mentioning of the royal family make my want to kill someone but I know I must act honoured and surprised, so I smile.
"It would my honour to serve the Emperor and his kin." I say trying not to show my hatred towards them.
"You will be assigned to the prince himself, Cebriel."  She catches my eye, I nod. "You will be leaving in exactly a hour to arrive at the capital of (what) around sundown. Since this is a last minute mission you will be deeper informed on the way there."
She stares at my. I nod again.
"Do you understand the importance of your task." The Headmaster eyed digging deep into my soul.
"I understand the importance of the task." I replied without flinching away from her gaze.
"You are dismissed, report back at me office in a hour.
