"Well we otta get some coffee don't you think?" I ask with a grin.
She nods and we stand up to walk up to the counter. A girl with small buns on each side of her head wearing an apron finishes tapping in the order from the people in front of us. The name "Skye" was engraved on her name tag in a cursive font.

"Hello! What would you two like today?"

"I'll take a large iced mocha and carmel frappé, extra cream. I'd also like chocolate chip bits mixed in it, not to much of the whipped cream, and a light-- and I mean light-- carmel drizzle on top. I would also like three shots of espresso in it and I'll buy one of these metal straws along with my order."
Dani says calmly yet fast, the woman at the counter with eyebrows raised as she tries to get everything tapped in. Dani picks up a light blue metal straw from a little plastic container in front of her on the counter with a pleasant look on her face. Her look changes to what seems like a Dani face.

"Also, this container holding the metal straws has just as much plastic as these straws would have had if they were made plastic. I dont even get why," I send her a look saying "Dani'' and she realizes.
"nevermind."

I look at her with a playful glare and she turns to me, letting out a scoff in reply.
I turn back to Skye.
"And I would like a medium black coffee. Nothing else."
"Wait! And one croissant." Dani chimes with her hands pressed against the counter in excitement.

I look at her once again and mouth "really". She just shrugs.
Skye beeps in our order and gives us our total. I start to pull out my wallet but Dani stops me.

"Hey I'm trying to waste my money now. I've been saving too much for no reason and now everything is on me." Dani hands Skye a golden credit card with a silhouette of a guy pointing up on it in black. Skye swipes it in the machine and hands a receipt and her card back.
"There you go! It'll be ready in a few. Have a nice day."

Me and Dani return to our spots after getting the order and discuss the plans with me meeting Peiji.
Dani reaches into her bag and pulls out the newest, most expensive model of a laptop I've ever seen. She holds the power button and logs into it.
"Okay so the only day that he's off within the next two weeks is..."
Dani pauses, tapping away with one hand on her laptop of which she brought with her. Her other hand was holding her croissant. I ball up a napkin that was resting on the table and throw it at her. It hits her square in the face. She scrunches her nose at me and then sticks her tongue out in a playful manner. I beam back at her, attempting an innocent look. I lock my hands together and rest them in my cheek, batting my eyes at her.
"Stahp. I could've dropped my croissant." She references, a perfectly accurate voice and a glint in her eye.
I laugh.

"C'mon Dani!" I whine like a child.
"I can't take the suspense!"

She clicks her keyboard, her eyes seemingly scanning the screen as she reads what she opened.
Looking up with me with her eyebrows raised and her mouth in a "o" shape. I gesture my hand in a circle for her to continue because I really can't handle the suspense.
"The only day that he has off is
... tomorrow."
My eyes go wide with realization and I start to flip out.
"S..so I get to meet him tomorrow?"
"Looks like it," she clicks on her laptop a few more times while taking a small bite out of the golden pastry. She stares at the screen. "Unless you have something on your schedule tomorrow..."
She says with a mumble while still clicking.
"Oh please, please tell me that I don't have anything planned."
She looks up at me once again.
"You're supposed to meet your personal Bodyguard tomorrow. I completely forgot that I asked him to meet us."
"Wait."
I pull out my phone, her giving me a 'huh? What's up?' or a 'your phone didn't even go off' face. I open up my contacts and tap "Bg", opening it up to his phone number. I call the number and put the phone on speaker. Thankfully, no one is even in range to hear our conversation.
The phone rings twice and gets cut off at the third chime.
