—two years later—
*adriens pov*

I have been thinking about attempting to talk to Marinette because about 3 months ago she stopped giving me weird looks in the hall and actually smiling at me. "I'm just gonna do it" he thought

"Plagg claws out"

Man it's been a long time since he's said those words. Ever since Hawkmoth disappeared a year ago him and ladybug do patrols but they patrol opposite sides of paris.

—time skip to Marinette's house—

Tap tap tap

Chat was nervous to talk to Marinette he was afraid of what she would say. "Adrien?" he snapped out of thought.

"Yeah"

"What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to talk to you"

"Come inside it's cold"

Chat stepped inside and Marinette guided him to sit down on her bed "what did you want to talk about?"

"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for what I said I was mad and I didn't mean it, you don't have to forgive me I broke your heart then screamed at you to get out of my face"

"Adrien that's all I wanted to hear, took you long enough"

"What?"

"I mean I was mad at you for the first 6 months and decided to forgive you were mad and confused and I was heart broken" she paused for a second "I was going to try and talk to you but I was afraid"

"I felt the same way when I was coming here, I'm so happy you forgave me"

Marinette checked her phone and realized it was ten pm. "Adrien it's ten I feel like you should go we have school tomorrow."

"Yeah"

He jumps out of the window heads home and goes to sleep. Adrien woke up and went to school. "Hey buddy"

"Hey Nino"

I heard fast foot steps behind me and then I was crashing to the ground. "I'm so sorry...Adrien?"

"It's fine"

"Okay I'll be going now"

Adrien watches Marinette run to class. A smile comes across his face. She was his friend. He was happy that they could actually look at each other and smile and it made him happy. She didn't know how much it meant to him that she forgave him.

   Adrien headed into class and before he sat down he gave Marinette a smile "okay class settle do-"

  *BOOM*

  Wait there haven't been an attack ever since last year. Adrien had to transform,he ran out of class and into the locker room. But he didn't know that Marinette was in the locker room too...
