I felt like the most despised person in the world. It was only three days before graduation, and no one had invited me to the Ball. What was wrong with me? Was I too short to dance with anyone? Not even the most freaky of the school invited me. EVERYONE had a pair, but me. My best friend, Eva, told me that maybe it was because I was new to town and I have entered school this year. And everyone had already planned with whom they would go to the ball since the end of last year.

Okay ... well, maybe I had the chance to be invited, but I was late, and now I would be alone.

- Hellie! Wait a minute! I already know who you can go to the ball! - Eva said giving me hope on the penultimate day of school.

- But who? Everyone already has a pair, if I only knew someone in this city, I still have not had time to make many friends.

- My cousin comes from America with my uncles to see my graduation, and I can ask him to accompany you. - Eva suggested.

- You think he'd go with me?"

- Of course! He's a little older, but he's a really nice guy. I love it when you come to visit me! You will like him very much!

- All right, then talk to him when he arrives.

I confess this gave me a hint of hope, at least I would have someone to accompany me. Eva talked all the time about this cousin John, or Johnny. She said he was cool, funny and that was an actor.

I have been practically all my life studying in private schools for girls, but they did not want to accept me in high school because of my dream of being an actress. I studied with private teachers and learned all that was needed, so I passed the general knowledge test and was able to finish the final year of high school at this new college in London. I finally got in touch with real people.

My acting career had not disrupted my studies. My last job this year was Lady Jane, my first feature film, which has not yet been released. Maybe in two years. But okay, I want to be part of other projects. I found it interesting that my friend's cousin also liked being an actor, maybe when I arrived we could talk about our passion in acting.
