everything was a mess.

bodies were everywhere.

i could hear the sirens around me but no one actually paid attention to me.

i was walking with no direction, my vision blurred.

i couldn't feel anything until my leg decided to give up on me.

i fell on the ground, i had no power left.

i still felt my sister's dead body around my arm. i didn't even get to see her since some people were evacuating the place and someone took me aside.

but i just walked away, i didn't even know where i was going to.

and now im on the ground, hugging my knees, terrified.

i didn't know where to go, i didn't know what to do.

i was still crying, i didn't even realize that.

the attack was over, earth was defended by the earth mightiest hero, The Avengers.

but no, no one defended me.

actually, one person did.

Iron Man did.

he took the bomb out to the space to save the planet, to save us.

he paid my revenge and i was so thankful for that.

he was the only person that came across my mind the whole day.

i wiped my tears, still shaking. i stood up and walked across the street, i didn't know where to go.

until i found a small cafe inside an alley, surprisingly the attack didn't damage the place.

i sat on the corner, some people there were talking about the attack, and everything.

i couldn't think clearly at that moment so i just sat there contemplating life.

...

"kid?"

a woman who was apparently the cafe keeper touched my shoulder.

i lifted my head up.

"Y-yes? "

"You've been here for 4 hours, do you need something? "

"no, thank you "

i tried to smile.

"You don't look good kid, where are your parents? "

"Um.. they're at home"

i lied, i didn't want the lady to know what actually happened.

she sat in front of me.

"thank goodness the attack didn't damage this place, although my house is probably gone by now"

"You didn't call someone or check it? "

"Nah, i live alone. and i don't really give a shit about that house. My boss let me stay here sometimes. "

"It's not even my house, my ex-husband gave it to me when we were divorced. " she continued

"I-i'm sorry about that "

"That's fine kid"

i looked down, the smiled went away.

"You lost someone?"

"Um.. I did actually"

"Who is it? "

i didn't say a word

"It's okay, tell me"

"I lost my sister"
