Percy's POV
After everything that's happened, Annabeth and I have decided to take a break from the gods and attempt to live a normal life. With that stupid goddess, Hera, taking my memory, falling into Tartarus with my Wise Girl, and defeating Gaia, I definitely needed this. But in a few weeks, I have to go to school. Like come on! I save the world twice but I still need an education. Of course I'll be with Annabeth, but I never really liked school but maybe we can start a family an-
"-ercy! PERCY!"
Uhgh, stupid ADHD. "Huh?! What happened?"
"Seaweed Brain you zoned out again."
"Oh uh, sorry."
Annabeth mumbles to herself and I was able to catch the words: idiot, stupid, and something about why she dealt with me all the time. Then, composing her thoughts, she said, "Come on, your mom is calling us, it's time for lunch."
I then ran downstairs leaving Annabeth trudging behind me, muttering about what a seaweed brain I am.
(Un-noticed time skiparoo)
After lunch, Annabeth had to leave for something. I decided that I needed to go to the park and enjoy life and stuff.
"Mom! I'm going to the park! Be back home in and hour or so."
"Okay Percy, just don't get into trouble!"
"I can't promise that. Trouble seems to follow me everywhere. But I'll try. Bye mom!"
Well soon later I learned that I did not try hard enough.
