Chapter 3 - Sneaky Behaviour
All night, Bay’s eyes were in my dreams, in my head, everywhere. I needed to sort this out. But I couldn’t. By the time morning came, I was still hiding from the thought of Bay. A ring on my finger in the future? No. I really had to think about it, about him. Before I had time to figure it out, night had hid the sun. I had been thinking all day and gotten nowhere. Bloom had came into my room. “Bell, came you braid my hair please?” came from her, with an innocent voice. We both sat on my bed, talking, whilst I braided her blonde, silky hair which she had inherited from her father. After I had finished braiding her hair, we both slipped under the sheets, ready for sleep to take over, and closed our eyes. Once Bloom was deep into her sweet dreams, there was a tapping on the window. It was Bay. I was panicking a bit, because I still hadn’t figured out what I was going to do! “What are you doing?” I whispered out the window to him, being careful not to wake Bloom. “Come, come with me” came from the boy out of the window, “Why?” escaped my lips, “Just come. PLEASE” I gave into him this time, as I grabbed my jacket carefully placing the locket into the pocket of my jacket. The floor was on my side for a second time, not making a squeak!
Bay caught me as I jumped out of the window. I jumped straight into his arms. He had lifted me slightly, just enough till I was eye level to him. Those eyes which had haunted me in my dreams, were in front of mine, connected to the face of what use to be my best friend, which could now possibility be more. My simple blue eyes didn’t match his green eyes, with the gold flecks that came visible in dim light. Bay had taken me into the woods, but deeper into the woods than we usually go. He had put a blind fold on my eyes, and had lead me to this mysterious place. He had his arms wrapped around my waist and his head on my shoulder. “How far is it?” I asked, “Not too far now……….. Watch your step!” came from his head that was on my shoulder, whispering in my ear. I was starting to get cold, he had tightened his grip around me, which my skin had started to extract his warmth and then warm started to creep through my body and kept me warm.
“Ready…….1………..2……..3” Bay had whispered in my ear before he took the blind fold off on three, to reveal what he had wanted to show me, to make me leave my bed with Bloom, for her to be alone. It must be important, for him to leave it till late.
There was a tree, waiting to be scaled. On the top of the tree, was some sort of a hid out. Inside there was a table with candles leading up to the table, with wild rose petals along the floor. Bay had stayed at the entrance of the hid out, allowing me to admire it. After a while of being amazed that he had done this all of me, I turned to see those eyes that have been beside me all along. Without uttering a word, I ran straight into his arms, he had lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist, looking into his eyes, then he kissed me long a passionately on the lips. Whilst Bay was kissing me, his arms tightened around me as I kissed him back, he put me down after a while of kissing and looked into my eyes, and they had an expression of their own, happy, they were happy at last. I had completed his search for a person to spend the rest of his life with. After a long time of lovey, dovey, kiss here and squeeze there, I had lost track of time.
I had to get back in bed with Bloom! He had begged me to stay. With those eyes staring into mine, he could get anything out of me “ I guess I could tell them I went hunting earlier today” I told Bay, as he pulled me back into his grasp.
The forest air woke me, to find Bay lying next to me, with my head on his shoulder and his arms wrapped around me. As I let out a yawn, Bay woke up, surprised, but still those eyes were filled with pleasure. “Morning you” as he touched my noise with his. Bay rolled over, realising me from his grip. “I guess we better find something to hunt” Bay had reminded me about Bloom in bed, alone. “I almost forgot!” I told him. As we we’re scaling the tree down, Bay caught me just like last night, when I jumped from the window, into his arms. He tried to kiss me on the lips, but I turned my head and he kissed me on my neck. Bay had his hand in mine and wasn’t planning on letting it go till we caught sight of what we were to hunt. We caught sight of a deer, just my luck. I got the knife out of my pocket, the same one I had used one the animal that nearly killed the person beside me. I had crept up on the deer, in position to kill it, I breathed out, aimed my knife at the deer and through it. “Good shot Bell!” Came from Bay, we had put the deer in my jacket, so the deer wouldn’t attract attention in the town.
