Chapter 4 – Threatened!
I woke up to a pounding head ace. My eye sight was kind of blurry, but was slowly coming into focus. I wasn’t in the woods with Bay, not at home, where was I? Where was Bay? “Bay!” I had shouted. No response. I couldn’t get to my feet, I was strapped with a leathery strapped on my limbs, to a chair. The door had opened to see a lady standing in the door way. She had walked towards me. “Where’s my friend Bay!” I screamed at her, panicking what they could be doing to him. She didn’t respond” Please” I begged with a quitter volume to my voice. ‘Isn’t that a more civilised tone” came from this woman’s sly mouth. “Where’s Bay” I told her through my gritting teeth. “I’ll take you to him, if you do a little something for me” she said, whilst playing with my hair. “Why would I!” I mumbled to myself. “And what would that be” I had asked her. “We need you and your friend to do us a little favour………..We need you to get to and then kill one of our old friends” What did she want Bay and I to do? No-way! “And what if we don’t do your dirty work?” I snapped at her. “Oh, we’ll just kill your friend……………..What was his name...Oh yes, Bay wasn’t it” came from that evil stricken heart of hers. “Is it a deal? Or shall he die?” God I hate this woman.
“It’s a deal” I told her, afraid of what they might do to Bay. “Take me to him!” I snapped. She looked at me, straight in the eyes. “Please” I asked. She had unstrapped me and taken me through a few doors and down a long hallway. She had come to a room, reading 21704. She opened the door and there Bay was, strapped to a chair just as I was. Without thinking I ran for him, taking the straps off him. He wasn’t all there, I could tell by his eyes, they weren’t themselves but looking sleepy. “Am I still a naughty Puppy?” he asked. My eyes had started to tear up. I now know that I never wanted to leave Bay’s arms again, I had made my decision, I was to be with him and grow old with him. As soon as had got all the straps off him, he had grabbed me and held me tight. He had pressed my head into his chest, knowing that I was crying. My tears were making his shirt wet but he didn’t care. My throat went dry with all the crying I had done. I cried so hard that the tears and moans weren’t coming out anymore. This feeling inside of me was not a feeling that I ever wanted to visit. I was pulling me in to directions and made me feel like I was invisible. Bay had buried his head in my hair and his arms were pulling me closer to him with every yelp that had sneaked out of my voice box.
Did he know about how we had to kill one of their old friends? I was shaking in his arms of the thought, Bay had loosened his grip on me a bit “its ok Bell. We’ll be home in no time” he whispered to me soothingly. But the thought of home and Bloom was too much and made me shutter. “They told me if I didn’t agree to their plan that….. That they’ll kill you!” I cried to Bay, “You had no choice” he whispered to me. After a while of crying and Bay trying to sooth me back to normal, Bay had finally brought me to my senses. They took Bay and I down some more hallway and doors. They had pushed us into a room that was completely white, with a silver table in the middle of the room, with six chairs. Bay and I sat next to each-other, hand in hand under the table. Three other people entered, including the women I had seen earlier. The one that told me the deal to me, which if we didn’t do their dirty work, Bay was going to be put under the knife.
There was a strong looking man, who had stayed by the door, But Bay could take him down easy! The other man was fancy dressed and had a book to write notes in. The woman and the fancy dressed man had sat themselves opposite Bay and I. “Now let’s get down to business, Shall we?” came from the woman’s sly mouth. I have to admit, I was squeezing Bay’s hand so hard, and his hand might have bleed. Bay was squeezing my hand in return, but I was petrified of these people, who knows what they could do? They had abducted us, shot us with tranquiliser, and strapped us to chairs. What was I supposed to feel? Excited? Happy? We’ll I was shaking in my boots. They had threatened to take away Bay’s life, if I didn’t agree, to their veil plan, to keep their hands clean and get our hands covered in blood, and deal with the guilt of killing someone.
