The drive to Zayn's was short. His house ended up being two streets away from mine. So it didn't take long to get there. I didn't even know that the street existed, actually.

The house was a good size. It was light blue, with yellow shutters and a long stone pathway, lined with yellow flowers and a large white porch.

I grabbed my science book and purse and slammed the car door behind my blue convertible.

My friends and I liked to call it the whale, because it was blue like one, and when it ran low on gas it made whale like noises.

I looked around to see if anyone was watching. "I can't believe I have to do this." I said to myself.

I walked up the stone path slowly. I didn't want to seem to eager to get there.

When I got to the end, I knocked on the door and seconds later, Zayn opened it. He smiled when he realized it was me.

"Hey." He smiled. He didn't have his glasses on,but, he had what he had on at school earlier.

"Hi." I half smiled. He stepped aside so that I could step in.

"That's a nice car you got there." He said looking out into the street.

"Oh thanks." I said, "Sweet sixteen present." It was a used car, but, everyone seemed to think it was new.

There were still a few boxes stacked by his stairs.

"Zayn?' I heard amazingly attractive accent again. A tall skinny women appeared with a red apron on and an oven mit in here hand.

"Zayn did you..." She looked over at me. "Oh, hi sweetie." She smiled at me.

"Hi there." I smiled. Zayn looked over at me and then at the women.

"Mum, this is Jasmine. Jasmine, mum." I loved how he said mum instead of mom.

"Hi mom.' I said shaking Zayn's mom's hand.

"What a surprise," she smiled. "Zayn doesn't usually bring girls-"

"Muuuuuum." He rolled his eyes,I giggled." Aren't you supposed to be cooking something?" he said as he lightly pushed her through the hall wall, towards a kitchen.

"Alright, alright." She said. "I'll bring you guys some milk and cookies in a bit, kay?"

There was silence for a moment, and then Zayn reappeared, scratching his head with that shy smile.

" Sorry. She's quite the character." He chuckled. He jammed his hands in his pockets.

"It's fine." I laughed. "My mom is the same way." We stood there for a minute.

"Alright, study time." He smiled.

"Right." I said, following behind him into a basement. It was a nice, finished basement. Someone could have lived there if they wanted to.

There was a nice flat screen T.V. and a few couches, and a pool table.

"So are you guys pretty much moved in?" I asked, sitting down on one of the couches and setting my books and purse down.

"Yeah pretty much." He went to a mini fridge." You want a drink?" He asked, taking out two Arizona's.

"Yeah, sure." I said, trying to sound as 'chill' as I could.

He handed me the can and sat down beside me.

"So, where should we start?" He asked, picking up his book, and putting on his glasses. They must not be prescription,I had to admit, he did look pretty good without them, and with them on he-

"Jasmine?" He waved his hand in front of my face.

I jumped. "Oh, sorry,um page thirty four?"

"Ok." He smiled and opened his book.
